"In a time when the world is correcting itself [racially], I hope the ‘Snub Club’ at Y&R realizes what it feels like to be snubbed by your peers. Some of us can’t even get on the pre-Emmy ballot. Maybe Y&R knows what it feels like now. Thank God Debbi Morgan will be representing the shrinking and invisible casts of African-American actors in daytime dramas"

She's right thank God for Debbi and I'm praying she wins. |

Frankie will be under stress from having returned from combat, combined with his injuries, and Randi's past intruding into the present. That's a story that will bring in Angie & Jesse. |

...Randi has come a long way from working street corners and hanging out in jail cells, but headwriter Charles Ratt says Frankie's wife has more heartache ahead. "Angie and Jesse are both going to get tangled up in a problem Randi's having, which I won't go into, but it's a secret she can't let Frankie know, he teases.
When Jesse figures out exactly what's really going on, Rhandi's life will only get more complicated. "Jesse will find out and have to keep it from Angie, so a big secret is going to come into the midst of that family." ...Pratt puts it, expect to see the Hubbard family having to navigate some fairly choppy waters.

There was NOTHING controversial about his comeback until October of 2008 when Pratt the Ratt took the writing reigns at AMC and rewrote history to make it fit his warped s/l!

Im glad she is standing up and speaking her mind. Hopefully the soap world will hear what she has to say. Maybe she should forget all about The Young & The Restless and come join the all black soap opera when are goin to get if RATT don't either stop smoking whatever he is on or he is fired. The soap opera will be starring our supercouple Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams.(lolz) tu) |

| ABC soaps | June 15, 2009 @ 6:59pm | Darnell Williams is featured in this mag: June 29, 2009. Not much was revealed but I am including a couple of comments from the article.
This enlightens us on why Pratt is writing Jesse bending so many rules. I don't agree with him at all but this is the comment: "AMC headwriter Pratt the Rat, spoke at length about the Hubbard patriach in an interview last month. "I personally believe, for a cop to be on a show and be any good, he's got to constantly wrestle with compromising himself for the people he loves." PRatt teases. "Sometimes the law itself, the justice system itself, is the bad guy. Does that make Jesse the superhero in a strange kind of way?"
I disagree with this too: "Fans would quickly respond yes...but then again, the character can do little wrong in their eyes. After a two-decade long absence from Pine Valley, jesse returned from the dead to reunite with soulmate Angie and took only a tiny hit in his popularity when his secret teenge daughter and her mom showed up in town."---WRONG!!!!
Sorry this article wasn't much at all. But nice to see someone of color in the darn mag.

I'm not buying the Jesse has to compromise himself because the law is the bad guy... in Angie's case, the law wasn't the bad guy... Angie was!!

Which only proves the point that PRATT was out to kill Jesse's character or image of being the good guy any way he could. So he figures he can just carry on with it because Jesse didnt take a big "hit" (in his eyes-anyway)for lying and shacking up with Rebecca as he re-wrote history (me rolling my eyes I am still hot about that- it was stupid) I digress.
I thought the article was supposed to be an interview with Darnell???

It was. They quoted Pratt I think but DW was interviewed over the phone... in fact he was suffering from hayfever.
A friend sent me the article and I was suppose to upload and posted it here this morning but forgot... sorry VB!!
If no one does it, I'll do it this afternoon when I get home.
