Thanks for your attempt to gain clarity. I sincerelly did not mean to start a firestorm or offend anyone or their favorite character. In reading may of the back posts on this site and watching many of the Hubbard scenes back to last June I truly wanted to understand the rationale for the intense hatred of the character of Randi and extreme worshipping of the character of Angie. I appreciate your efforts in requesting that level of transparency as well but after several responses it still remains unclear to me other than Randi is held responsible for Frankies behavior/actions to Angie. Uhmmmm.
Although I will continue to subscribe to the forum as I do enjoy the early postings of the vidcaps I will refrain from further postings. My apologies to any I may have offended with my inquiries. |

LOVEHUB - Hear me clearly - do NOT stop posting here - all are welcome to post and banter on any topic here. All we ask is that everyone respect each other. It's okay to disagree with someone on a character or plot but it's not okay to flame anyone simply because they don't agree with you. As far as I can see you've done no wrong here and I personally want to hear everyone's point of view - that's why I created this site! And that goes for everyone here - talk amongst yourselves, argue for your characters right or wrong - just be nice to each other in the process. We are all family here - some take this soap a whole lot more seriously than others, but in the end we all share the common bond of loving the Hubbards! So POST ON!!!!
And for the record, I don't hate any of the Hubbard characters. The worst was Cass by far IMHO LOL. I don't miss her at all.
Peace!

Jang if you feel like you don't want to respond to post anymore, that's your choice. But I or no one else ask you to stop posting, and quiet frankly we would miss your presence and views. I just ask you to be kind in HOW you respond. Now let me say this...In reference to picking what characters it's ok to say something about, I don't operate like that. For ME..it's not that serious! They are fictional characters that are on TV for a hour, 5 days a week. They are not my family, friends or associates. So I don't care what grief you have with either character. I'm just asking that you please share that grief in a constructive way and don't attack other members because they can't understand why you are taking this so serious and was just trying to comprehend that.
Now I'm curious! Why is it so serious? Yall have this hate for Randi, and seems like Jesse too, because maybe you think Angie didn't punish him enough or something for those 20 years? So seriously, because it's a fictional character, and not to mention that DV has no choice of where they take her storyline...she's just trying to have a job, I'm not understanding what the seriousness is about. And before the realist, sociology major, and spiritual side of me me kick in and I get in my counseling mode (I can't help it. lol) I'ma wait for y'all to help me understand. |

Yesterday things got heated and for that I apologize for that. But I stand by my opinion 100% but I could have worded it better. Jav ........ I am well aware that these characters are fictional. I'm not taking it seriously. In fact I haven't watched an eppy of AMC going on 2 weeks. My posts came off strongly b/c I got tired of having to justify my opinion over and over. That's what happened yesterday. Again I apologize for my aggressiveness. But as I said, I'm through discussing this topic. I'm going my butt to bed now. (LOL) Worked a 16 hour shift and I need my beauty rest. Gnite. |

| June 30, 2009 @ 10:35pm | Okay Imma be a big girl and apologies
From the deepest part of my heart I so apologies for my actions today and yesterday. I came off rude and myself disrespectful and for that I deeply apologize. I don't, however apologize for what I said. I stand by that 100%. However, that doesn't excuse my behavior. I want people to respect my opinion, yet I shut Lovehub's down. I didn't even stop to think that you are relatively new to this board. I apologize once again.
And by the way, belatedly, WELCOME ABOARD!
Now with that said.... can somebody PLEEEEEEAAAAASSSEEE Help me with my Humanities class?! The next chapter is on religion.

| July 1, 2009 @ 4:06am | Meredith, In regards to your feelings about Jesse,ICAM! tu) That's exactly why I'm STILL not feeling either J/A but, especially, not Jesse. And while I know it was part of Pratt's heinous agenda, when he came on board, to make both Zach and Jesse, less heroic. Especially, imo.Jesse, given the fact that I believe, with every fiber of my being, that Pratt is a stone-cold racist )It still doesn't set well with me. And I,personally, can't pretend that it didn't happen,as well as others may be able to do. And even though I know DW and DM had nothing to do with that storyline, you can't help how you feel. I know I sound like a broken record, and I do apologize if that's true, but I think it's because of what you,Mere, mentioned,Jesse has never been held accountable. And even though this is a soap opera and a fictional work of art (not where Pratt's concerned, but you know what I mean) people still want their sense of justice and morality affirmed. And if characters, repeatedly, get away with wrong- ful behavior, that sense of justice and righteousness,is denied the viewers. Soaps, oddly enough, used to be moral- ity tales, where good was rewarded and bad was punished, but nowdays,at least on AMC,that is,most assuredly, not the case. How sad. Believe it or not,I wish J/A would've broken up over that 2nd family mess,at least for a while, but it didn't happen. To be sure,I am a big proponent of black love,in both fiction and reality. But only if it's healthy. As far as I'm concerned, because of Pratt and his cronies,i.e fellow writers at AMC,A/J's marriage is incredibly one- sided(in favor of Jesse)and not healthy. Sure,it may look,to all outward appearances, healthy, but,in truth,in terms of being equally respectful and equally holding each other accountable, their marriage is not at all, healthy. Granted,it's better than all the other relationships on the show(with the exception of Frandi's)but that's not say- ing very much.(sigh) And,finally,to your point about Frankie needing to respect Angie, his mother,I agree. tu) |
