I don't know what kinda respect that was, especially considering what the Hubbards did for Randi. They put their lives and reputation, (okay, Just Angie!) on the line for her, and what does that ungrateful rat do?! She spills everything to the one law-abiding Hubbard in that family for a baby that isn't even hers!! Yes Jesse's a crooked COP, but just like he said, he did it for that baby she carried. I understand she's hurting. Hell so are the rest of them. Angie and Jesse were looking forward to their first grandchild. Frankie his, okay, second child, but first with the woman he supposedly loves. Yeah, Randi showed alot of love for the only family she has! She was brilliant!
Loved Angie words to Randi. It seems Randi really respects her MIL and Angie really loves her as a daughter And can you point this out to me?! I musta missed this!

First, IA that threatening to tell all about North was wrong. But in firness Randi has not been in her right state of mind for a few weeks now. She is desperate, guilt ridden and in a lot of grief. That child represented her chance from God to be forgiven for all her bad past, as Frankie said it was her lifeline. She would no more turn on the family than she would cheat on Frankie. I think we'll see this on Monday.
The respect between Angie & Randi is that although both women have had issues with each other in the past and as of late Randi was upset with Angie, when Angie speaks/ mothers, Randi listens to Angie and Angie tries to reach her by sharing her own expereinces,much like real mom & daughters do. Angie did it when Randi was afraid to live in the moment with Farnkie before his reurn to war, when she was losing the baby and yesterday about understanding he rfeelings about the baby and hers with Cass.
I know many hate the Angie & Randi relationship but I think the two have a very realistic relationship building Its not all sugary sweet, competition for #1 spot in Frankies life or the bitter nasty rivalry of some MIL/DIL. |

Is it just me or on Friday’s episode when Angie and Jesse were kissing. Darnell was trying to make it as a peck but Debbie pushed his head back down. Like ‘Don’t stop I’ve missed you’.. I think my eyes are deceiving me. Am I the only one who saw this???? |

Okay, as much as it pains me, I do agree with you. I agree that she spoke from hurt and pain. But I still don't think she should have said it. On the one hand yes she was hurting and saying things out of that hurt. But she should have realized that not only would she implicate herself but her ENTIRE family! Her husband included! So not only would she go to jail, but so would he, his parents, and now that Randi has blurted it out to her, his sister as well.
And I agree with what you said about Frankie's part in this as well. He was told not to give Randi high hopes about that baby. He's a doctor and should have known better. I don't see how Angie didn't recognize the signs of Randi's mental state either. So on that we agree.

I do not hold Angie accountable for not seeing Randi mental state at all. Angie knew nothing about them having that child and the last time she saw Randi they were smiling & hugging each other. Once Angie knew he secret and let Randi knew the family had her back Angie had no reason to suspect Randis was losing it. I blame Frankie & Natalia, but specifically Frankie. He not only knew she was losing it but he chose to ignore it cause the baby made her happy. Angie only picked up that Randi & Frankie were not all there when she showed up with the kid at the loft saying it was meant to be hers and cooing at it and then he shows up panicked, then relieved then kissing her and a child that does not belong to either of them. Angie & Jesse knew then Randi gone around the bend & Frankie was letting it happen. |

want to re). I find them demeaning to Angie. It dis-
gusts me to see Angie sing Jesse's praises when he,most
assuredly,doesn't deserve it. WHAT has he done,aside
from jumping onto an airborne helicopter(last year,pre-
Pratt),that warrants Angie's love and devotion. IMO,
NOTHING. That helicopter leap was LAST YEAR! Was that
his get out of jail free card,FOREVER. Granted that was
a loving gesture,to be sure,but given all the lies and
half-truths he's told,since then,that leap from a tall
building,is a distant memory.
I just wish that Angie would get a clue and kick
Jesse to the curb,for a while. Jesse has in no way earned
her devotion or respect,for that matter. And he needs to.
We the viewers need to see/hear HIM say how amazing SHE is.
Angie said Jesse was amazing,when she was kissing him.
What's so amazing about him now? Not much,if anything!
That scene made me sick and made me realize how decimated
J/A really are,under Pratt's pen and also how sexist Pratt
is. JESSE not Angie should be saying how amazing and won-
derful Angie is,not the other way around. All I've seen
Jesse do for Angie,is make her lunch or dinner. What's
so amazing about that?
I know this is supposed to be a site where we share
our love of A/J but,lately,thanks to Pratt/Frons,I just
can't. They make me SAD and,quite frankly,ANGRY. |

Okay I mean no disrespect to you, but if you feel that way, why are you still watching?! I just don't get it. I don't watch Randi scenes unless I have too and that's only if she's on it with AnJ. I personally love it when they get that special time together. It's better than seeing Chicken neck and Doe eyes! And the Silver Bullet and The nut!

Add my thoughts... When they don't have those scenes together you complain,(Not talking about u personally. I mean in general). Anyway you complain about them not being touchey feeley, but when they do passionate and romantic,Get ANJ,you still complain. I see it this way take it or leave it. Watch it or fast forward it. No disrepect in no kind of way but I'm just saying. You can't have it both ways because obviously it ain't going to happen that way. I would rather see them loving each other through the hard times than pushing each other away or worse never seeing them. So take your pick. Lovey dovey or both OFF-SCREEN. Just Saying..... |

As for Randi blurting out what she said, my thing is this. Yes she wasn't in her right mind. But that door was wide opened. Suppose one of Jesse's officers, a young officer trying to make a name for himself, had come by and heard that, or the DA? What if the next time she has a meltdown and doesn't get her way? What's to stop her from blurting this out again and someone other than family hears this and turns them in?

I agree it was the same stupid editing as a few weeks ago when Jesse confessed all to Angie & Frankie in the pv police station with his door wide open. A much greater chance of someone n law enforcement hearig all. I know budget is tight but AMC really needs to invest in continuity editors to elimiante such gaffes as it takes away from the scene s/l.
As far as Randi... I am think now that Jesse and Angie are aware of her emotional breakdown she will get some help/counseling. Frankie & Natalia with the best of intentions really only made it worse. IN her right state of mind I do not think Ranid would ever purposely jeopardize the family, she has told Angie on more than one occasion she thinks of her as her mother. I think it will be Jesse and Angie that are able to help her back to sanity. Frankie needs some counseling. Hes still dealing with the loss of his career dream, use of his hands and the miscarriage. FRANDI is not thinking straight at all. |
