The Emmy's are tomorrow. We hope to see you in live chat so we can all watch together.
Also here's an important message reminder:
Members of the Nation, we need your help! As you all know our site
administrator Otter is self employed and maintains AnJ Nation of her own
accord because of her love for Angie and Jesse. At this time she needs our
help and as hard as it was for her to allow us to do this for her, she
agreed. Her grandmother is seriously ill and lives in California. She had
purchased a ticket to go later on this year; however her grandmother's
illness has become an urgent matter. The airline is not willing to allow her
to exchange on the dates and she will have to virtually pay for another
ticket. We know that times are hard for many of us, but if you can even
spare a dollar to help her out that would be totally awesome!

| August 29, 2009 @ 2:12pm | You know? I was in this store this morning listening to my Mp3 player. I had "Heal the World" playing and sang it out loud. I had gone down the cereal aisle and stopped and tears just boiled over.
This man has done more for the people in this world thru his music and humanitarian efforts than any celebrity that has come thru our path. Yet, even in death, people still criticize the singer. They don't know him personally. WE know him as Michael Jackson, the creater of the moonwalk, the leather red jacket, the one-handed glittered glove. WE didn't know him as someone's son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, FRIEND! Sadly, we will never know the truth about that person. But what I will always remember about him is his smile, his efforts to change the world, feed the hungry, nurture the sick children he came in contact with. I take my hat off to Michael as I remember him on what should have been a celebration. Remember the man who's poster's I put on my wall, who's music I wanted to hear, who's name just made me scream everytime I heard it. That man will always be remembered by me. Happy Birthday Michael. May you finally rest your soul and be at peace!
