Loved the episode, I'm glad they shined some light on the good and bad. The past and the present. Loved the ending where ALL The Hubbards cuddled on the couch and looked like a real family! Jesse, Angela, Franklin, and Natalia Hubbard! True family indeed!
Happy Anniversary AMC!!!! |

| January 5, 2010 @ 5:28pm | The Hubbard's segments were great today. It was all about Family and I loved hearing what Jesse and Randi had to say. tu)

"You are my profound joy, my greatest gift" ~---~ "My whole life changed when I met you"

"You gave me my life back" ~---~ "Before we met I was lost" |

Okay ladies and some a you gentlemen...
Here's why I love the Hubbard's. There is no family in that town quite like them. They are believable as a family. They love each other as a family. I love Angie's motherly instincts. I loved how she has pledged to help Madison, despite what she has done to the family. I love how she doesn't care what other's think about how she baby's Frankie. Frankie is and always will be her son. First born. I also love how accepting she was of Natalia, and how she let Jesse be the father he needed to be. But most of all I love how she still loves the man who captured her heart all those years ago. Despite his many faults, lies and cover ups; despite him hurting her, she's forgiven him and moved on.
Jesse: I love him cause he's so fine! He rocks! I love how he stepped in after a twenty year absence and became Frankie's father. (SHUT UP MEREDITH! IM REMINISCING HERE!) I love how even after Angie's blow up on the fire escape, he managed to wiggle his way out of his lies about Rebecca and Natalia. I didn't, however, like the fact that he allowed his wife to bring his baby mama into their home, knowing full well she was NOT accepting of it! But as with Angie, they got past the hurt, the pain, the lies, the cover ups, and are now a family (AGAIN SHUT UP MEREDITH!)

| January 5, 2010 @ 6:51pm | I love Frankie too. Frankie has come along way from what I've seen and heard about him. From TRYING to find his footing, to finding his way and settling down. For someone to come from out of nowhere, not know the history of the two veteran actors playing his parents, Cornelius has come a very long way. He's wonderful! I give him MY vote for the best young male actor. Good JOB!
Natalia. Er body knows about her history. Okay done with. I like the curly haired female Jesse-diva she is. Yeah, some times she can work a dayum nerve! But she's her daddy's child! By the way, I'm using the same hair care product Shannon is using. Works wonders!

| HUBBARD FAMILY | January 5, 2010 @ 7:24pm | For all the AMC fans that didn't already love the Hubbard family, they should them now. Not only are they the best acting group on the show. They are the best damn looking family on TV period.
I think they should have their own TV show. "THE HUBBARDS" |

| The Anniversary Show | January 5, 2010 @ 8:37pm | I enjoyed seeing Brooke, Maria, Mateo, Bianca. Maria breaking down over Julia .... was emotional. Love seeing AnJ talking about their love, that was great. Nice seeing those train reunion scenes.
I have to say this though ..... I felt this show was rushed. I felt that it was WAY to focused on the present and not so much on the past. Blink and you missed Nina. I'm just saying .... just me. |

| OK | January 5, 2010 @ 9:19pm | Just saw the show. Since I have not been an AMC watcher for longer than what I know about Angie and Jesse when they were on back then and basically following Angie and Jacob on Loving and the City....I feel like I did not get the whole history behind many of the characters I read about but never got to see... I wish they would have maybe invested in at least 2 to 3 days in giving flashbacks where you could hear dialogue. I have never seen Billy Clyde and I hear he was some character, would have loved to see some clips of him and some others I missed...
But I LOVED, LOVED the Hubbards NATURALLY....

| January 6, 2010 @ 9:01am | I too loved the 40th anniversary show, especially the Hub’s and the Martin’s. When it was over, my first thought was THAT’S IT! 40 YEAR AND THIS IS ALL WE GET….WTH! re)
IMO this “technically” one day event showcasing 40 years should have been bigger and better then what we saw!
But Hey..its a new year...and I am claiming BIGGER & BETTER THINGS TO COME!!! tu) tu) |
