First it was, Rebecca let Jesse go, now it's Jesse left her to be with Angie.
However you slice it, that story is still jacked up.

I, for one, am sick of hearing the Rebecca let you go crap. Cause like Jangie said in one of her stories... If Jesse didn't want to come back to Angie and Frankie, he would have fought like hell to stay with Rebecca.

fused. What would you rather they do?
Don't misunderstand,I find it,beyond irritating,that
Jesse's story keeps changing,but how else are the writers
going to redeem Jesse(if that's even possible,now )
if they don't rewrite Pratt's crap.?
Even though Pratt's name is still in the opening cred-
its,as HW,I kind of think that LB and her team,are tweak-
ing what Pratt penned. If so,her writing that Jesse
left,on his own,to go back to Angie(which is actually NOT
TRUE,either,because we all saw Jesse come back with the
intention of only seeing Frankie and then moving on,without
Angie seeing him. Oh well. ),is a good thing and makes
it seem as if Jesse's need to get back to Angie,somehow,was
paramount. And it gives Jesse back the control,not Rebecca,as Pratt had her either "make him go" or "let him go". As if it's due to Rebecca's magnanimous spirit and
not Jesse's own will,that is the reason that A/J are to-
gether again. So,I'm okay with THIS most recent change.
I hate the constant,whiplash,rewrites of Jesse's
story,but if it redeems Jesse and renews viewers faith in
J/A's love story,that Pratt crapped on,I'll deal with it.
But,at this point,I,honestly,don't know how ANY writer,in-
cluding Shakespeare,could fix what Pratt has done to A/J's
story. Especially Jesse's. |

Although I like Natalia, I want JESSE to tell HIS WIFE all this. I don't want to hear it from Nat or from Jesse telling someone else this. hell all the twenty year crap needs to be dealt wth!

Oh. I get it And I agree. The writers do need to
have Jesse,once and for all,tell the truth,to Angie.
A friend,on another board told me that she,really,didn't
think it was a good idea for Jesse to be the only one to
tell what happened for those 20 years,because,due to
Pratt, Jesse's word can't be trusted,now. So what
good would Jesse telling Angie the truth,do now?
My friend also thought it would be better for Rebecca to
return,so that Jesse could tell both Angie and Rebecca
what he felt and why he did what he did. So that every-
thing is out in the open and there is no misunderstand-
ing. I get that,but I don't trust even the new writers
to make right what Pratt made so wrong with J/A's legacy.
I don't know how to fix what Pratt messed up,short of
making Nat NOT Jesse's. Even that wouldn't fix every-
thing but it would help. At least Jesse wouldn't have
dogged Angie mere months after "dying" |

It needs to be dealt with. Angie still doesn't know about all of it. And I'm sure there are still parts that Jesse hasn't told her. And I'm sure those parts won't be revealed now or later. And if the writer's do this right it will redeem that story line. (hopefully!) I just want it to be done right. Im glad it wasn't a I sent Jesse back to you, or I let him go. Now it's You left Mom to be with Angie. The latter I can deal with. The former I cannot.
PS Its good to be able to debate without fighting. Feels like old times. Now lemme go watch my Charmed and learn to cast a few spells!

PLEASE DONT DO THAT (ill just thinking about that)
Jesse has been mamed as a charcter and now people take him for a joke as COP because of PRASS using him to prop other characters that he basically had no major ties too.(UGGGG -sorry I digressed.)

The problem here goes back to why did Angie allow Jesse to remain in her home if she needs his mistress to validate him... if she needs to be brought back so that Jesse can get a stamp of approval, Angie should have divorced him long ago. If she can't trust him to tell the truth without his mistress there to confirm what he is saying, something is terribly wrong and Angie should have gotten out when she was first slapped in the face with Jesse's pack of lies.

| February 5, 2010 @ 10:17am | On that Meredith I agree. Rebecca is dead and gone. There is no reason for her to return to approve what Jesse tells Angie. There writing is on the wall. There is no reason for Angie to trust in what Jesse tells her about the last twenty years. he straight up lied to her about most of it and about who Natalia was. Why should Angie believe anything that comes out of that mans mouth?! And as for Rebecca she helped cover up the fact that he was alive, well and in good health except for his bout with hypertension. So how are we to know that anything SHE would have to say is the truth? Same with Natalia. She lied about who she was and why she was at the loft in the first place. How are we to know she isn't just covering up for daddy because he's her daddy and she'd do anything for him (SHUT UP MEREDITH! LOL)
Okay Im off my soap box. I just want a happy ANgie and Jesse. Some real loving wouldn't be so bad. Im so sick of these drama queens on my tv screen! Now I gotta go. ADIOS!

Overlooked responding to this...
Jesse already told his mistress how he felt... we saw it... he told her he did love her... she can't validate to Angie how Jesse felt about Angie... all she can validate is the hard facts... ie where they lived, when they met and starting sexing it up... things like that... what she can't do is validate Jesse and his feelings because whatever lies he told Angie regarding his feelings, it was just as easy for him to lie to his mistress about his feelings... and according to HER, not Jesse but HER, Jesse's heart was with Angie... now if that's not true that mean that's a lie the mistress told not Jesse...
So again, on the important issue... what were Jesse's feelings... who did he love... who was his heart faithful too... no one but him can in actuallity know what the truth is...
VB... maybe the "other" family is the family of lies...

IA it is good to discuss or
even debate,without being argumentative. But,VB,HOW
are the writers going to rectify that 2nd family story,if all we have is Jesse's word,that Pratt has now sullied,if
not flat-out ruined? How is that mess of a story going
to be made right? Any suggestions? And for the record,
I REALLY DO NOT want Rebecca back,either. Her presence
wasn't needed,to begin with,but,oh well... I was just
putting my friend's suggestion out there. Instead of us,
or any other J/A fans,rehashing the MANY things that were
wrong about THAT story,maybe we should be thinking of
ways to make it right. Pratt's attempts to rewrite his
original rewrite ,have only served to make things more
confusing and fans angier,because it begs the question,
why didn't he say the things he's saying now(Jesse was hav-
ing birthdays in secret,as opposed to celebrating birth-
days,presumably,out in the open ;and Jesse LEFT to be
with Angie,as opposed to being made to leave or let go )before?
So,any suggestions on how to fix PRATT's/FRONS mess,so
that we,J/A fans,can get back a semblance(likeness)of what
J/A used to be/have,in terms of a love story? |

I don't know. I was trying to make a point and I think my fingers worked faster than my brain.
I say that because this is no longer about Angie and Frankie and Jesse. I know he's their son. But this is no longer about him. This is now Angie and Jesse and Angie dealing with the hurt and pain of knowing her husband was thinking about her but bedding another woman; her husband was thinking about his son, yet raising another child he sired with said woman. This is the issue many people have regarding Jesse. Angie's issue is that she can't trust what comes out of her husband's mouth. One minute Rebecca let him go, the next he left her. Which is it? You know what I mean?
okay did any of this make any sense to you? I hope so. Cause I felt like I was babbling! LOL
