| March 2, 2010 @ 8:58am | Today is Michele Minnish's surgery day. It will start at exactly 9 EST. (She's from Georgia) Not sure how long it is but her friend Andi will keep me posted thru text message and I will keep you abreast of her recovery. Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks.
Also, I'm hoping against hope that the new writers have taken over. But I am also hoping NOT because Jesse is still doing terrible things as a COP. I don't see how they have Angie being strong minded against David, yet Jesse's runnin' a muck behind Ryan concerning Greenlee!

I understand where people are coming from on that but we also have to give the new writers a chance to try and unravel the mess that CHUCK made. They let him go on for almost 2 yrs with that other stuff, it may take a little bit to get them back!!!!! I personally would appreciate it happening with some thought and s/ls that make sense.
I will say that what I do appreciate about Jesse right now that he is doing what he can to try and work on their marriage and show support for Angie(which has been totally lacking since CHUCKIE came up with that other drama.
For me what he does as COP and how he treats AANGIE are separate issues. Dont get me wrong, I want the smart, savvy, on point Jesse back in all aspects. But he has to be flawed somewhere becaue it is a soap opera, so if he needs/has to be flawed I will take him being flawed with his job over Angie ANYDAY!!!! Just saying

I agree with that Diva. I was sick as a dog with the way he treated Angie during the whole OF business. I can understand where Angie is coming from, but Jesse's lies took a toll. Now, I just want them Happy and for SOMEbody to deal with Dr. Evil Hayward!

I totally agree, it will take time to unravel all that mess Pratt made. To me there is already a BIG difference in the writing and we actually have some dialogue...go figure. I can even stand to watch the other s/l's even though they don't interest me. I must give credit to DV today because her acting has improved.

Hey ladies. Michele Minnish was released from the hospital and is recovering at her parents home. Says she can't wait to get back into the swing of things. And she says thank you all for your prayers

Jesse's lies did take a toll. But on who;Angie or
we,the viewers? I vote,we the viewers. Because if Jesse's
lies took a toll on Angie,anyone just tuning in,would not
get that impression. Angie,imo,let Jesse off the hook
too easily,again,and she is suffering the brunt of the
fallout of Jesse's actions. How? She,because of Jesse's
shady and corrupt actions,on Zach and Kendall's behalf ,
felt the need to keep Jesse out of jail,(due to his know-
ledge that Adam was drugged and did nothing about it )by blackmailing David into giving up the COS position.
Which she is,now,regretting because of how difficult David
is making it for her and because of what happened with
that heart patient,who died. Granted,Jesse did not tell Angie
to blackmail David,but out of her love for her idiot hus-
band(misguided love,if you ask me )Angie felt compelled
to help HIM and Jake stay out of jail. And,now,it could
cost her not only the COS position,but her standing as a
respected physician,period. It could even cost her a job,
as a doctor,period! Angie,due to Jesse's lies,has
suffered,immensely,starting with the OF crap and leading
up to this David/COS business that involves a man dying,
perhaps,unnecessarily. Jesse has suffered NOTHING due
to his lies. He still has his job. He still has the love
of his wife and son. He,even,still has the love and re-
spect of his daughter,whom he blew off,initially,because
she would've exposed what a liar CP had turned him into.
Angie has had her heart stomped on and ripped out. Angie
has compromised her professional integrity,at Jesse's re
quest(for Randi)and now has her career,on the line,all
because of Jesse. Who has suffered NOTHING! How is
that right? I so wish Angie had kicked Jesse to the
curb. At least then,he would've suffered some loss. As it
should be. |

Especially when he either lies to her and keeps her in the dark about things (at the beginning he kept the case with North and Randi's and his involvement in it away from her) and at the beginning the Slater case from Angie, or in the end he involves her by saying things like Hate me or help me. All of that tied in to him being COP and that hurt her. (DON"T START MEREDITH! I KNOW YOU!) He'd have to hate me cause I would NOT have helped him cover anything up and loose everything I spent the last twenty years working for! Love or NO love!

ITA. The dialogue is totally different and more realistic now than under Pratt. There's still some silliness, but for the most part it has improved.
