| March 3 | April 19, 2008 @ 5:18pm | The second scene in before the intro credits shows our supercouple along with Tad at his office. They are talking about the missing DVD’s from Frankie’s hospital stay.
Jesse: So this is it — the people that snatched me now know I’m alive!
Tad tells him that they recognized him from the hospital security videos when Jesse visited Frankie. Jesse asked Tad if he thinks the DVDs were really stolen from the hospital. Angie chimes in and says maybe they were misplaced. Tad says he doesn’t think so because the only DVD’s that were missing were from Frankie’s room. Angie agrees but says she’s worked at hospitals for years and mistakes are made. Here’s some dialogue:
Jesse: Hey, hey, hey, hey, sweetheart, I told you the danger involved here, ok?
Angie: No, I — I’m not a fool, Jesse. But those people who tortured you all those years ago — to know that now they’re looking at videos of you and Frankie just sends — sends chills down my spine.
We are then taken to a room where Robert Gardner is on the phone telling someone that Jesse is alive and living in Pine Valley along with his wife and kid. His final words in this scene are chilling: “Jesse, Jesse you should have stayed dead.” (End scene)
In our next scene Jesse is telling Angie to grab her passport and as much cash as she can. Tad tells him that he’s already tried this over and over again and it didn’t work. Jesse says they are getting the hell out of there! Tad tells him that it’s gone too far, he can’t just run out of town. Jesse looks at Angie and tells her to get Frankie over here so they can leave together. Tad basically tells them that this is ridiculous! If “they” know that Jesse is there, then they know that Tad is involved too. And if Jesse, Angie and Frankie go on the run, then so does Tad, Krystal and Jenny and anyone else who’s involved. Angie tells Jesse that Tad is right, they are involved. Jesse says this is what he’s been talking about all this time, he didn’t want to involve anyone in his mess. Tad tells him it’s too late and Jesse says this whole thing is snowballing out of control. Angie then tries to calm Jesse telling them she understands his frustration and she is upset about all of this as well. BUT…she tells him…
Okay, I can’t really do this part justice so I’ll have t make a vidcap so you can see Ms. Debbi Morgan’s performance
MORE TO REPORT…best line so far today: “ARE YOU HIGH?” Jesse asks this of Tad when he suggests they use Angie for bait…the look on his face alone deserves a vidcap
Picking up where the vidcap left off above WILL BE another vidcap because Darnell’s performance rocks and includes our best line of the day!
Written Recap of this scene….Jesse makes it REALLY clear that there is no way they are going to use Angie for bait. He and Tad throw around their respective testosterone and we are left hanging just a bit longer as to what the end result will be in all of this.

The last scene in this segment shows our slimeball Robert Gardner on the phone saying Jesse isn’t leaving town and that means he’s finally decided on a showdown. Gardner says he’s one BIG step ahead of Jesse because he knows about Jesse, but Jesse doesn’t have a clue about him. “And he won’t…until it’s too late for him, and his little helpers!” Now, is it just me or do you hear the wicked witch from the Wizard of Oz saying “I’ll get you my pretty and your little dog too!” LOL
Okay, suck it up peeps, here’s our last AJ scene from today…
Back at Tad’s office, Jesse says he still thinks John Remmington could lead them to their next clue. Angie thanks Tad for helping them and tells him they would be lost without him! Then a knock on the door and Tad tells Angie to get her bag and yelling “Be right there” as he points for them to go up stairs. Angie whispers, be careful to Tad - don’t ya just love these 3 being together again? I DO!!! Anyhow I digress…Tad walks over and opens the door and …. OMG…it’s Robert Gardner! Tad clearly doesn’t know him and says “Can I help you?” and we fade out.
Well I know we all can’t wait to see this all play out! I’ll be back tomorrow with a recap/vidcap!

thanks so much, I am so happy you post these things before i get home to watch (I work really late some days) and i’m loving what Jesse asks Tad… that’s classic Jesse… I love Darnell Williams he can really act…as well as Debbi….

You are welcome - I just wish I could post faster - but it’s so fun to watch, sometimes I have to sit back, take it in and then write after it’s over.
I can relate being at work, I wish someone had done this when I had corporate america dayz lol…ENJOY….will try to finish up relatively soon! Was a great day of dialogue and intrigue

OMG! thanks so much for that i so enjoyed, I had to call my mother to tell her about today’s episode, I laughed so hard telling her that i had tears because Jesse hit that table out of anger and hurt his hand, man his attention to detail as an actor is unparrelled…and when he asked Tad was he high, my GOD…I’ve so missed these three, if only Jenny could resurrect…..sigh
PS thanks for creating this blog… it’s part of my favs now…

First of all, thanks for the post. The episode was really strong today. I would also like to say “Happy Birthday!” to Darnell Williams. He should be proud because he truly gets better with age!

I just found this blog and I love it. I am returning to AMC just because of Angie and Jessie. They have acted their Butts off and I can’t wait to run home and watch on tivo. I check out your clips also-thanks for the time and effort you take to keep A/J lovers up-to-date.

AMC/ABC is a day behind where I live, so I have to wait to watch on soapnet at night for the current show.
Your posting let me know when Angie and Jesse will on and if I will watch!
Love today’s show….DM and DW are so great!!
After watching today I belive that DW actually did hurt his hand when he hit the table….DM/MEK did not miss a beat they kept going with that scene.
I just love Jesse’s wit and come back!!
DM/DW/MEK are rocking all of those scenes!!

It was great to see J/A/T scenes today. IMO, DW, DM and MEK are OWNING the show! They make it look easy. Shout out to Darnell–hope his birthday brought him half as much joy as he bring us. And shout out to Taylor@, I see U!And Kel, thanks for the hard work. I appreciate you filling my JnA jones!

I have a question, good morning all… has Darnell ever married and do he have any children? Is it me or do those two look better now than they did 20 years ago? I’m so happy this blog was created, they have always been my favorite couple, I was only 13 in 1983 watching with my grandmother, I cried so much when they killed him off the show. I havent watched AMC for many, many years, i’m only back because of them.

Funny you should mention that … last night I started to put together bio’s for A&J’s characters as well as actor/actress bio’s. I started with Darnell’s and just posted it. And there is some info on the marriage status there too!

Thank you so much for this blog. It helps me with my Jesse and Angie fix.
Darnell was cute back then…..but he is toooooooooooooooo fine now. He is perfectly seasoned now; and that salt-and-pepper in his beard just gets me going. *whew* I think it’s gettin’ a little warm in here. hahaha.
