As for Natalia, “She lost her mother and her father at certain points, and decides that Jesse had another family,” explains Kreizman. “To make that next step, to really commit and risk being hurt, is going to take some work.”

Didn't she always KNOW that he had another family? 
Personally,I think that the writers should explore Nat's
feeling of being 2nd best,in her father's eyes. Because
maybe that's why she always feels the need to be THE BEST
and win his approval. JMO. |

I have always thought that nat was jealous of angie and frankie. and even more jealous jesse's marriage to angie and that's why she's always siding with jesse and she became a cop and now angie is pregnant i say she is jealous of that too.
Remember jesse and nat mentioned that jesse never really interacted with them espically her mom so she didn't get jesse's love the way frankie did as a child.
i say maybe that is why she doesn't want to persue a relationship wit brot cuz she has a trust issue with men cuz of how her relationship was with jesse growing up.
remember she had jesse all to her self for 19yrs and then bang there's angie and fankie yeah she has always known about them but to actually except them once she seen them face to face and see how different jesse is with them than when he was with nat and her mom.
yes i say the writers should explore nat's feeling about everything she never really grieved for her mom that is something her and jesse need to deal with remember they were together for 19yrs.
and they should do the same with angie cuz i now it must be killing her inside to see jesse with his daughter and she can't be with cassandra.

Thanks for the compliment on my post.
But I would have to,respectfully,disagree that Jesse didn't
interact with Nat and her mom. If that's true,then how
do you explain Nat saying that they celebrated Jesse's
birthday together. Twice I heard Nat say it. The first
time was when they all(including Angie)were in Nat's hos-
pital room. And the second time was when Nat and Jesse
were celebrating Jesse's surprise birthday at Confusion.
Plus,if Jesse never interacted with Nat and her mom,how
do you explain the supposed Christmas outing,where Nat
broke something and Jesse told her she had to be honest re)
and pay for it,or some nonsense. re)(It's nonsense be-
cause it comes from a man who lied about so many things. )
And if Nat has trust issues with men,because of Jesse,well
then why would she give him a mug every year that says
"World's Greatest Dad"?
I can see why she would be unsure about male/female rela-
tionships,given her parents never married,but a lot
of kids have parents who aren't married(look at Kate Hud-
son)but that doesn't stop them from entering into rela-
tionships and/or marriage. Why would it stop Nat? If
she was always under the impression that Jesse would
leave,because she always knew that he should've been with
his first family,well then,again,why give him a World's
Greatest Dad mug,every year?
Personally,I think it would just be better if the writers
just rewrote some of THAT story and made it so that Jesse
wasn't Nat's biological father,have Nat find out,and then
she and Jesse could explore the issues that Nat has with
both of her parents. Issues that Pratt
never bothered to explore,because he wasn't interested in
doing so. He was just interested in making Jesse look
like a piece of crap father/man, and making Angie look
like a shell of her former self,who just takes all of
Jesse's lies because she is just SO grateful to have him
back in her life,regardless. |

Natalia? Jesse was with Natalia longer. He went shopping
with her. Had birthdays with her. He,presumably,went
to HER high school graduation and other functions,that
she may have had.(Assuming he wasn't "in hiding" re),
while her mother went to the functions. re)) So,given the
length of time,and numerous events that they shared,how
did Frankie get more of Jesse's love? Especially consider-
ing the fact that,according to,I think it was Meredith,
Jesse wasn't THAT present in Frankie's life,before he
"died". A good portion of A/J's marriage,Jesse spent in
the doghouse and not with Angela.(ex. Jesse cheating with
Yvonne. And Jesse killing Les Baxter.)So,truth be told,
Frankie didn't have Jesse anymore than Nat. I would dare
say,Nat had the better deal,even if Jesse did want to
be somewhere else. At least Jesse was there physically. And for
longer. Wouldn't that mean SOMETHING to a kid? IDK. JMO. |

I think they mean before she came on the scene, she finally accepted that Jesse had another family and that she was pretty much left out as far as being number one in his heart like Frankie was and still is.
She decides that okay, even though she's his daughter, he still has another family... One he came seem to stop thinking about. As much as her and her mother wanted.
That's the way I see it.

you're absolutely right middleone. Jesse wasn't in Frankie's life physically or emotionally. He wasn't in Nat's life emotionally but physically he was. Jesse's mind was on Frankie and Angie and not on Nat. She may have felt emotionally neglected because of that.

I always felt that Frankie got the raw end of the deal. Natalia had Jesse from birth until graduation. Whether he was mentally there or not, he was physically and guess what--kids grow up in worse situations everyday. Of course this will make Natalia question relationships but people question that everyday for various reasons. It's funny that Frankie didn't hesitate marrying and being with Rhandi even though he was abandoned by his father. Even though I am not a Rhandi fan, I do think it was because of the way that Angie raised Frankie or because he thought his dad was dead. You would think that Becca being a "psychiatrist" would have done a better job helping Natalia work through the issues of growing up with an emotionally distant father.

I'm sorry for confusing you with my post i did word it wrong. jesse did interact with nat but he wasn't there completely he was distant he wasn't there for her mentaly or emotionally and the same can be said about his interaction with beeca i say he loved nat no doubt but but not as much as he did frankie. and i think it was tad he told that he wasn't like into becca's whole pregnancy and that he was there for the birth of nat but he wasn't not mentally and emotionally or something like that. but imo i say nat was just going through the motion with the father's day mug hoping that one year he would be the world's greatest day and give her his full attention. idk.
and you are right i for got frankie didn't get with jesse due to his parents marriage problems but yeah looking back now frankie did get the short end of the stick.
but i hope they do rewrite this nonsense and jesse is not nat's father cuz i have been saying it from the begining nat is not jesse biological child.

When did Jesse mention,to Tad,that he was present at
Nat's birth,but not,emotionally,there?
I've listened,fairly intently,to this storyline,and while
I did hear Jesse tell Tad he felt as if he ran out on
Angela,when he left 22 years ago,I've never heard Jesse
say that he was present at Nat's birth,but not really into
it. I was feeling pretty good that the writers were not
mentioning Jesse being at Nat's birth(holding out hope
that they would rewrite Pratt's crap and have Nat not be
his ),but,now,if they have mentioned it,I don't see
how they can rewrite THAT story. (sigh) |

I am going to watch all of my clips again on youtube over the weekend and get back to you i maybe wrong but i could have sword he told that to tad angie or frankie idk but don't quote me on it. but shoot i am sure am hoping that it can be rewritten and nat is not his.

Any person that loses a parent can possibly be hesitant of forming close relationships. In my mind, Frankie has just as much of a reason to avoid close, long-term relationships as Natalia does.

make her a suspect in his murder? And do you think(as I
do)that Liza,the new DA,will have the nerve to insist that

tioning? (Not that Jesse hasn't arrested the love
of his life,before. ) Truth be told,Angie has as much reason
as anyone for killing David(potential loss of job,not to
mention,actual loss of sight,indirectly,because of him ).
Are the writers really going to have the gual to put a
woman who is both BLIND and PREGNANT(namely BLIND)on trial
for MURDER?!! I bet they will.(smh) GMAB! Hasn't Angie

I agree with I say if she is not the prime suspect she will be a person of intrest or a suspect but not primary suspect. I am leaning more tward natalia or frankie or jesse. if a hubbard was to be a suspect. but I can say this though I wouldn't be suprised if gale came back to finish david off. but if i had to pick a primary suspect other than angie I would say greenlee or ryan or madison

Not GL she was there in a crowded room with a bunch of people listening to Caleb's boring speech.

If I remember correctly.... Frankie said his parents were in the ballroom together.
I suspect Frankie and Ryan....

Frankie.... Well because david cut his hours and was threatening to fire him...
Oh and one more person... (thanks 80s!) the mechanic that screwed up erica's plane. I think he wanted more money and David told him off....

Angie may not be suspect,directly,but indirectly,via
Jesse,she would,at least,be a person of interest,that the
DA or ADA would want to talk to. Angie may,more than like-
ly,not have killed David herself,but Jesse or Frankie
could've killed him on Angie's behalf.
I just think that Liza and others are going to at least
consider Angie somewhat suspect,given that she has motive
for DAYS ,and given the fact that she was at the party,in the main
room,where everyone else was,she is suspect. I mean,
how convenient that neither Angie nor Jesse was in the main
area,at the time that David was being "killed". re)
Plus,A/J were two of the last people that David was seen,
publicly,talking to. How could they NOT be suspects?
And if someone,say Jesse,brings up the fact that Angie
couldn't have killed David,given that she is blind,someone
will ask the question,"So blind people can't commit mur-
der?" re) |
