A few scenes into the program we see Angie at Shonda’s home with Tad waiting in the wooded area, out of sight. “You say you’re an old friend of my son’s?” Shonda says. “Yes, I’m Dr. Angela Hubbard.” Shonda says John told her about Angie and invites her in. We then see a man in the bushes who is watching Tad closely and is armed. Scene drifts to seeing creepy Uncle Robert on the phone telling the armed guy to keep them both in his crosshairs.

Cut to Tad’s office where Jesse is pacing the floor wigging about why he hasn’t heard from Tad. “Oh, man. You said you’d keep in touch, Thaddeus. Call me, damn it. I need to know what’s going on over at Remy’s,” he says out loud. So he decides to head out the door and check things out himself. As he’s closing the door, someone from behind puts a hand over his mouth and holds on to him. And we’re out to intro muzak…

Back from intro…we see Jesse and of course Frankie now inside Tad’s office. Jesse asks Frankie if he’s out of his mind, “rolling up on me and grabbing me like that, man!” Frankie says he was grabbing him because he was trying to sneak away and had to get him back inside before someone saw or heard them. “Now, you’re not supposed to be leaving the office,” he says to Jesse. “Well, who died and made your happy little ass lord of all? (LMAO) And do not presume to tell me what I can or cannot do!” Jesse shouts. Here’s some dialogue:

Frankie: Why not? Because you’re the dad? Look, it’s a little late for you to be trying to lay down rules for me.
Jesse: You know what? I can’t do this right now.
Frankie: Look, listen — Tad told me to make sure —
Jesse: Frankie, boy —
Frankie: That you stay put!
Jesse: Obviously, I’m not staying put.
Frankie: Listen —
Jesse: Oh, my —
Frankie: I know about the stolen hospital DVDs. Now, whoever is after you knows that you’re here in pine valley.
Jesse: Uh — yeah. And I can handle it, Frankie. Step aside, son!
Frankie: No, you’re going to have to fight me if you want to get past me.

AND YES, I will do a Vidcap** for this scene LOL…but for now here’s what else happened.

Back at Shonda’s house, Angie tells her that she heard about how John died and is sorry. “Everybody’s sorry. You, the police detectives who keep coming and going,” Shonda tells her. Angie says she was questioned by the police, too and then tells her she doesn’t know how much John told her about Angie, but they did spend some time together after her husband was shot. “John was such a sweet man,” she says. “Oh — don’t pretend you cared, Shonda says. “Excuse me?” Angie says as she is clearly shocked by this statement. “My son loved you, and you broke his heart,” Shonda tells her in no uncertain terms and we cut to commercial.

In our next scene, Angie is telling Shonda that she and John dated for a while, but that was all. Shonda tells her that John was devastated when he lost Angie. He just up and disappeared and she never heard from him again. “But now you know he didn’t disappear because of me. Someone took his life,” Angie tells her.

Outside Shonda’s, Tad takes a call from who else? Yup, Jesse who says “…you know what’s going on, Tad. You got my son to run interference on me.” Tad says ah, so you did try to leave the office? Jesse tells him he was worried about him and Angie. Tad tells him they are fine. Jesse asks how things are going with Remy’s mother and Tad tells him that Angie is inside with her now. Here’s some dialogue:

Jesse: You let her go in alone?
Tad: Huh — Jesse, I’m right outside the house, ok? I’m — I’m checking the perimeter.
Jesse: Are you insane? You can’t let her out of your sight, Tad!
Tad: Angela’s perfectly safe.
Jesse: You don’t know that.

Back inside Shonda’s we see her with a shotgun pointing it at Angie. Angie pleads with her not to shoot her and that she never meant to hurt Remy. Shonda tells her that the gun was a gift from John and he gave it to her just before he disappeared. He told her to keep it loaded and she does! Angie begs her not to shoot with mostly a look in her eyes and Shonda tells her “You’re not here to offer your condolences, you want something from me. And you brought backup - he’s outside! I may be old, but I’m not BLIND.” Angie tells her she can explain and Shonda says “This had better be good. Otherwise, I’ll do what John instructed me to do with this thing — target practice.” And we cut to commercial.

Back from commercial…Tad tells Jesse that he is going to have to trust him on this - he’s watching the house and nobody is going to get to Angela. Jesse tells him he needs to be in there with her and Tad tells him he thought so too, but Angie thought she’d get more out of the conversation if Tad wasn’t in the room. Just then the door swings open with Shonda and her shotgun pointed at the area where Tad is. “Oh, dear God,” Tad says. Jesse asked what’s going on and Tad tells him he’s going to need to call him back. He slowly puts his cell phone down as Shonda says” I know someone’s out there, show yourself.” Angie hollers for Tad and he steps out from the trees. “Who are you?” shouts Shonda. My name is Martin, Thaddeus Martin,” Tad calmly tells her. He says he’s a private investigator and Angie tells horror they are working with the police to investigate John Remington. Tad tells Shonda the sorry, the only reason he stayed outside is because they didn’t want to overwhelm her. He tells her that he talked to Derek Frye and that the two are friends. He knows that the police have had a lot of people out there to interview her as well. He says he knows exactly how she feels because his wife was murdered. And that her name was Dixie Martin — maybe she read about her in the paper. Shonda does remember and says “that serial killer got her.” Tad tells her that’s right and when it first happened the whole world was in his face and he hated it. It took him awhile to realize that people were just trying to help him and that’s what he and Angela wanted to do, just help her. Shonda invites him in.

Back at Tad’s office, Jesse is telling Frankie that there are probably people out there watching Remy’s mother’s house. He tries to convince Frankie that Angie needs his help but Frankie will have none of that. Jesse tells Frankie that he wants to protect her and Frankie says “…See, there you go! Still itching to be a damn hero!” He goes on to tell him how hard it was for him when Jesse died, how hard he cried and couldn’t stop so much so that Angie had to come get him from school. (This will get a Vidcap** as well - good father/sons stuff and fine acting as well!)

Back over to Shonda’s house, Tad tells her that he and Angela want to find whoever killed John and see them brought to justice. Angie says “For John and for Jesse”. Tad tells her that they think the two murders may be connected. Shonda says she’s told the police everything she can remember about the last few times she saw John. “If it’s okay with you, maybe Angela and I can help you remember a little more?”, Tad says. End scene.

Okay, our next two scenes are Vidcaps…taking a break from typing a bit LOL…I’ll recap the rest and we’ll be done!

Twas really good today and they do leave us hanging with quite an ending scene…but more on that later…ya I know, I’m a tease…but I do deliver.

Continuing on…back at Shonda’s, Tad asks her when her house was broken into and she said a couple weeks after John disappeared. Angie asked if she was home when it happened and Shonda tells her she wasn’t - she was visiting her sister in NY city. “Mrs. Remington, did you report this to the police? asked Tad. She told him yes and that they never caught the burglar. Angie asked her what was stolen and Shonda says insurance covered everything, was her tv, stereo, etc. But she wasn’t too bothered by it because they didn’t get her one treasure — a necklace from her baby boy she says proudly displaying it for them (she’s wearing it). End scene.

Back from final commercial zone … At Shonda’s we see her handing Tad a box. She says it’s some of John’s papers and letters to her and maybe they’ll help. “Oh. Mrs. Remington, I give you my word — I will return this to you just as soon as I can after I look it over, Tad says. Angie tells her she’s sorry for her loss. And Shonda says she’s sorry she was so nasty at first. Angie nods and tells her it’s all right. They all say goodnight and Tad thanks her again. Outside Shonda’s door…

And that’s all they wrote today…really, really good and a bit scary too LOL…can’t wait til next week!

OH WAIT…those 2 vidcaps I promised above ** here they be…

Peace out…
