I’ve been uber busy with paying work but I see your comments/requests — I’ll get to them asap and I have several surprises for you all as well … NOW ON TO TODAY’S EPISODE
Opening scene at PVH with Babe, Krystal and Angie. Angie’s telling them that J.R. has hepatitis. Scene cuts to Adam with J.R.
After intro music we are back at PVH and Angie is telling Babe and Krystal more about J.R.’s condition, tests, etc. She says what they are doing is not working well enough. Cut back to Adam and J.R. - he’s delerious and asking for Dixie. Begging Babe to find Dixie for him. Scene ends.
Okay…after a series of commercials we have a tiny scene with Angie, Adam and Krystal in the hallway outside. Adam’s being his typical a$$ self - giving Angie grief over J.R.’s condition. Mini dialogue below - includes some of J.R. asking for Dixie as well. (I know J.R.’s is a bundle of trouble, but I can’t help feel sorry for him over Dixie).
J.R.: Why are you all looking at me like that? Will somebody go get Dixie?
Babe: Um — Dixie, she can’t come right now, J.R.
J.R.: Why not?
Babe: Because she sent me instead. You know, she wants you to get strong and fight whatever it is that’s making you so sick.
J.R.: She doesn’t think it’s my fault, too, does she?
Babe: No, no, of course not. No.
J.R.: But you do? It’s always my fault.
Babe: No, J.R., It’s not always your fault.
J.R.: My dad thinks I’m a loser. That’s why I need somebody to go get Dixie for me!
Babe: No, shh, listen. Listen, I’m right here, ok? I’m not going anywhere.
Out in the hallway with Angie…
Adam: What the hell is going on here?
Krystal: Adam, calm down.
Adam: No, I’m not going to calm down. My boy — my son is in there asking for his dead mother.
Krystal: That is the fever talking, Adam. Right, Angie? You said that was to be expected, right?
Angie: Until we can bring J.R.’S temperature down, he’s going to remain a bit disoriented.
Adam: Why are we even back here? I thought you fixed him last time.
Angie: Adam, we treated your son’s infection. There was no reason to test for hepatitis at the time.
Adam: Hepatitis?
Krystal: Uh — we didn’t quite get to that part yet.
Scene ended and went to Opal’s.
Today’s episode has ended and I’m sad to report they showed NO previews of A&J at all. BUT I’m not sure that means we won’t see them BECAUSE my Dish Guide says “Angie and Jesse enjoy some romance” for Thursday’s episode so fret not. I’m thinking they’ll start it on Thursday and Friday will EXPLODE for us!
I’ll try to get my suprises up today — tonight more than likely — sooner if I can fit it in.

WOW…Angies on today! I’m so mad, they have pre-empted a live local event and are not showing AMC. I’m really counting on you today Otter (as I do everyday), since I’m not able to watch as it’s happening.

I can’t wait for Dixie/Tad/Kate reunion - I loved them so much together and they had a past with A&J which makes it all the more special that A&J will be there when Tad finds his little gurl.

I know re: TnD. I watched years ago and saw the beginnings of them and loved them to pieces. I really wish she’d come back to stay and the writers would remain true to their story and who they were.
Team JnA, Team TnD… who could beat that!!
And yes, thanks for all you do here for us and the surprises? I’m feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve!

Hey did anyone know that DW&DM are or were in a gospel stage play together last year (not sure about this year) called, “U Got me Bent & Twisted”? Also staring Jackee’ Harry, Big Red (bus driver on Speed), and one of the guy from the 5 Heartbeats, you know the one who joined the group later, and a few others. DW had ALL of his hair last year…like a young Jesse. Sooooo FINE!!!

I asked the same question about the ratings yesterday. In fact, that’s how I came across them being in that gospel stage play, I was searching for AMC’s ratings for Feb & March.

Speaking of that stage play, DW&DM are not touring with the play this year (I’m sure AMC is keeping them busy). Jackee’ Harry not only stars in the play, but directs it as well. Leolagirl, I can relate to those size 8’s. However, when Jesse died my eight had turned to a 10 because although my first born was 2, I still hadn’t lost all of my baby weight yet! Mannnnnnnn, how I’m trying to get back to that 10 RET NOW!!! When I turn 50 I want to be looking as good as Debbi is at 51. I think I may be able to pull that off in the next 6 years. LOL!!!!

“Jesse whisks Angie back in time to when they were first pronounced man and wife by this Justice of the Peace. Unfortunately, the Justice passed away, but they use his home to get married all over again.”
And next week?
“Jesse and Angie’s enchanting time together comes to a screeching halt.”
I don’t even want to think about what happens. I thought Cassandra’s return was later this year. lol

This is the audition script for Cassandra that Ravenbeauty posted last month.
“This one is for the role of Angie’s daughter Cassandra (a daughter not by Jesse). It takes place with Angie sitting on a park bench waiting for her daughter to meet her. Angie smiles when she sees Cassie approach but Cassie doesn’t seem so happy.
This is a long script which I am not going to repeat word for word. I will give you the meat and potato’s only since that’s what matters. Basically Cassie tells Angie that she wants to leave Pine Valley. That she is only there to see Angie but that she doesn’t like Pine Valley. She resents how Jesse wants to be her father and have this instant mix with water family when she’s not feeling it. Jacob was her father….not Jesse and she lets Angie know how she feels. Cassie says that her friends are in NY and that she doesn’t belong here. Angie asks Cassie to give Pine Valley a chance. Cassie tells Angie that she understands that Jesse was this whole love of her liife thing but that this is not her home and he’s not her father.
Angie tells Cassie that the kind of love she has for Jesse only really comes along once in your life. Angie asks Cassie if she’s met any boys here yet. Cassie rolls her eyes and says well there’s this one guy Dre who thinks he’s all that. He’s a rapper, gangster or whatever and thinks his dad is going to president or something. Angie nods in recognition and says oh Samuel Woods son aha. Cassie giggles and they go back and forth about how she must have more feelings for this Dre guy than she cares to admit. The script makes it rather obvious that Dre and Cassie will be the next new teen scene couple. They decide to head off for some ice cream together and the scene ends there.”
This may be an interesting summer.

Hey ladies, I watched the old clip of Angie and Jesse when he found out about Frankie. These two were so good in that scene. I love me some angryJesse. And when he confronted Huggy Bear, I mean Les, it was classic Jesse.
Then I found another clip about AMC’s 25 anniversary. Carol Burnett was hosting and she interviewed DM & DW in one segment. They showed the clip when JnA were about to make love but Angie said she didn’t want to do it until she was married.

Where Angie talk about how she got the role of Angie (funny).
About how DM called everyone she could think of to get DW not leave AMC.

Hey to everyone today… I’ve been reading your comments…that Cassandra script…is it real? Boy…I was convinced.
I can’t wait until Richie is found out…I don’t like him. I hope Opal & Myrtle aren’t in any danger with him living there.
Opal hit it right on the head with her cards…I was wondering if they would ever bring it back up about what happened to Zach. JR is bad but he’s a good boy at heart…he can’t help it being Adam’s son…he can rub off on ya!
I didn’t like the attitude Richie was givin’ Opal…he’s gonna get his and then Babe will see that Annie was right…and JR too.

Thank goodness for Angie. She will figure it out. I wouldn’t ever go to PVH with Joe Martin there, he can’t figure out anything. And JR is his grandson!. I hope she finds out about the bone marrow steeling, and Richie finally get busted. I’m sick to death of him and Babe. She just needs to tell him to get lost, then the real fun will begin - and she will finally see what Annie has told her all along. Her brother is psycho!

I have a scenario for you. What if Frankie has had what Robert was looking for all along? Frankie was just 5 when Jesse was shot. 5 year old boys love rocks. What if Jesse had inadvertently gave Frankie an uncut diamond? And what if Frankie kept it because it came from his “deceased” dad? What if the thing is right there in one of those unpacked boxes in the Hubbards new condo?

JhGRL–Girl hush. I never would have thought of that but you know that could be it exactly, which is why Robert insists that he has it or knows something, but wouldnt they have found it when they robbed her house 20 rs. ago?
I am hoping the screeching halt is maybe angie being on call or something next week.I really hope they get a couple of weeks of love and getting to know each other again the n the drama can be begin. But at this point I’ll take whatever I can get

Alicia - I thought about the robbery too. But my son was 4 when his grandfather died. He carried this truck he gave him absolutely everywhere for months. He wouldn’t leave it behind no matter how I tried to bribe him. Kids are like that. Maybe Frankie had it with him when the house was broken into.
As far as the screeching halt goes, I read in 2 different sites that Robert is going to interview Jesse next week. I am afraid that it won’t go well if you know what I mean.
Even when they were younger TPTB never let them be happy too long. I guess some things never change. I’m with you though. I will take what I can get.

jhgirlllllll, you maybe on to something. I hadn’t thought about Frankie. I’ve been wrecking my brain trying to figure out what could Jesse have that Robert wanted. Then when he mentioned a “bigger” diamond that Jesse would lead him too, I was trying to figure out why j wouldn’t know about it.

About the screeching halt situation, I was just telling my daughter today, I wish they could have a couple of months of happiness together before the drama.

I can’t wait for our surprise!!! What do you all think it will be…other than the clip I requested of Jesse dying??? Wasn’t Jesse shot twice? Didn’t he get shot not long after Angie’s dad died and that’s what made her go back to him? Maybe, that was the first time Darnell was leaving when Debbi was begging him to stay. AMC was probably getting ready to kill him off, when DW talked him into staying.

No he didn’t get shot twice. This doctor was sexually harrassing her at the hospital. She also lost a patient that she was very close to. The two incidents together pushed her to realize that Jesse would always be there for her. Even though she had kicked him out of the house, he was right there supporting her. -sigh- LOL

ROTFL! My sister said the same thing to me. I remember things that have an impact on me. And being as young as I was, it was so rare to see real love, flaws and all, portrayed between African Americans that it stuck. I remember a lot of it because for many of my generation, it was the first time that people who looked like us got to act like us too. They weren’t caricatures. They portrayed real people with real issues. They just happened to be of color. I remember how much pride I felt when I would watch them. Still do!

I know I dont remember most of it I was in elementary school but my peeps watched and I remember thinking it was so cool to see black folks on tv like that. That’s how I know about A and J.
