Okay, we get the second scene before the intro muzak mostly reminiscent from the end of Friday’s episode. We see Angie and Krystal at the safe house. Angie’s on the phone and is telling Krystal there’s still no answer. Angie is still freaking about the boys not answering them and Krystal tells her it hasn’t been that long. Angie tells Krystal something is wrong, she can just feel it. Krystal tells her that’s just her fear talking and not to let that take control. Here’s some dialogue:

Angie: What if Frankie got his father back only to lose him again?
Krystal: Frankie and Jesse have a lot of years ahead of them. The Hubbards are a family again.
Angie: We were —
Krystal: All right —
Angie: For a minute.
Krystal: Hush. Just hush. Everything’s going to be fine. Tad and Jesse are in this as a team, and together, they can’t be beat.
Angie: Tad and Jesse, our heroes — who think they can take on anything.

Back at the air strip we see Jesse yelling out that if they shoot him, they come up empty after all these years. “A failure! A waste!” he screams. Robert tells him not to push it and Jesse baits him by saying “Go ahead. Do it. Pull the trigger. I win!”

Off in the shadows we see Frankie and Colby. Frankie says Now! We see slight movement as Colby and Adam scream out to each other. Tad, Adam, Jesse are all okay - Adam sees Colby and runs to cradle her in his arms, crying her name and saying No, No, Colby.

INTRO MUZAK….

Resuming at the air strip Jesse sees that Frankie is okay and Adam still holding onto Colby saying No, no. Frankie tells Adam to back up and give her some air, Adam snaps back “Don’t tell me what to do! It’s your fault - all of you!” Tad tells Adam Frankie is a doctor and to let Frankie look at her. Jesse tells everyone to kep down as smarmy Uncle Robert makes his way towards them saying “Everyone all right here,” trying to sound like he’s mr. innocent and cares about them all. “What the hell,” Jesse says. An equally shocked Tad looks up and Robert and asks what he’s doing there. Just then Colby starts to awaken and turns out she just fell and hit her head. Tad’s still looking at Robert waiting for an answer and says “I asked you a question,” in a firm voice. Frankie confirms that Colby wasn’t shot and Adam asks what happened. Here’s some dialogue - ugh I hate Robert!

Adam: But what happened?
Robert: I think you’ll find the answer right over there.
Jesse: I don’t understand.
Robert: I wasn’t sure we’d get here in time.
Tad: “We”? Robert: You and Chandler — I followed you.
Adam: Who is this man? What are you talking about?
Tad: My uncle Robert. He’s Ray Gardner’s brother.
Adam: Ray — Ray Gardner? Your father?
Jesse: Why were you following them?
Robert: It’s my job.
Jesse: F.B.I.?
Robert: The man who was looking for you is right over there, Jesse.

The camera spans over to Rafael’s body on the floor face down.

End scene…

Our next scene is back at the air strip and Colby and Frankie are chatting about her tripping and falling. He tells her she did good and she says he did better. Frankie says they made it and are alive. Colby thanks Frankie and he says “yeah” and looks over at Rafael and says No thanks to him. Robert tells them that the dead guy on the floor is Rafael Guzman aka Papel. Adam asks who the hell that is and Jesse tells him he’s the leader of a drug cartel. Robert says he’s one of the “biggest and nastiest on the eastern seaboard” (sound like self-description to me) and that they’ve been chasing him 25 years. They’ve never had a picture of him or a postive I.D. until Jesse came back. Tad tells Jesse that Robert checks out with the FBI and Robert asks if Jesse wants to see his badge. You can tell that both Jesse and Tad are not quite buying this story from Robert. Tad asks Robert why he didnt’ tell him who he was from the beginning. Robert says he was on a job undercover and didnt’ think that would be appropriate. Adam says as far as he’s concerned he’s deeply in Robert’s debt. “Well, thank you,” smarmy Robert says in that sickening sweet southern drawl. Adam introduces himself and they exchange plesantries. Jesse’s clearly over this exchange and says “Listen, can you get back to Rafael? Are you sure — are you sure this is the guy?” Robert tells him there’s no doubt in his mind and that the bureau owes Jesse a big debt of gratitude. He says Papel really wanted Jesse badly and asks if Jesse has any idea why. Jesse tells him no and that’s the whole thing - he never knew what Papel wanted. Robert says whatever it was, it died with Papel. Jesse looks over at Frankie and asks if he’s sure he’s okay. Frankie tells him he’s good and asks if Jesse is okay. Jesse says he doesn’t know if he is okay. Frankie asks if this is all over now and Jesse says “Yeah” and asks if anyone has a phone. Tad says yeah and hands him his cell.

End scene…posting—up next VIDCAP - it only gets better now - check back for Angie, Frankie, Jesse reunion shortly…

OKAY…vidcap I did is the longest ever so far…I edited approximately 5 segments into an 8 minute clip and will write a recap of scenes not included but in this storyline. I tried to give you as much reunion time as possible and include some other key elements. I’m not sure I’ll do another vidcap for today since this is so meaty.

IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO ALREADY - BE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE A&J EMAIL ALERTS BY REGISTERING FOR THE BLOG TODAY (see sidebar). I SEND AN EMAIL TO ALL MEMBERS DAILY WHEN THE RECAPS ARE COMPLETED SO YOU CAN SAVE TIME CHECKING BACK AND FORTH.

VIDCAP IS UP….

Continuing on from Vidcap…coming down the stairs Angie notices that Robert is still standing outside and wonders why. Krystal says he’s probably deciding whether or not to ring the doorbell. Tad looks at her and she says we all know he’s your uncle and with the FBI, what’s the next hurdle? Tad says nothing would surprise him at this point and asks Jesse what he thinks. They both give each other a look and then Frankie talks about William Sherman and how he was a maniac burning Atlanta to the ground but his brother was a quite guy who wrote progressive legislation. Colby chimed in with the Sherman Antitrust Act and Krystal said we’ve all seen good brother/bad brother before. You can tell Tad is still thinking Robert isn’t all that…then a knock on the door and Tad excuses himself to answer the door. He gives everyone a look before he opens it as if to say I’m putting on my happy face now and then opens the door. Robert asks if he’s intruding and Tad tells him no, come on in. Robert says thank you in that same sick sweet drawl and the scene ends.

NOTE: Information in the storyline not included in vidcap

This all takes place at the air stirp….

Robert tells Tad he still looks suprised and Tad says he is. “A Gardner on the side of the law — who’d have thought?” Robert says. Tad says “Lucky for us and Robert quickly agrees by saying “Yeah. Lucky for you.”

A helicopter sets down and Derek enters the scene. He asks Robert if he’s Agent Gardner and says the his bureau chief filled him in on the operation. Robert tells him it got a little hairy toward the end and then notices Jesse and says My god. It’s really him.” You see that next scene in the vidcap above where Derek and Jesse talk.

Jesse and Tad talk about how hard it is to believe that a Gardner is on the right side of the law and who would have “thunk it”. Jesse says Tad sounds disappointed and Tad says “what the hell do I know?” Then Jesse asks him where the hell he and Adam were. Tad fills him in on Adam’s “heart attack” and how he drove them both off the road. Colby over hears this and says they must go to the hospital now. Adam tells her he’s fine. Colby asks Frankie to look him over and Adam completely shuts that down with his own diva scene about being fine. Frankie asks Colby if Adam is always this friendly and she says he’s just scared and Frankie says that makes three of us.

There’s also a scene where Jesse and Robert chat and he asks if they can be friends now. Jesse says yeah, but quickly moves on to asking about Rafael. Here’s their dialogue:

Jesse: You asked me if he wanted to know something and I told you I didn’t know.
Robert: That’s right. Why, are — are you remembering something now?
Jesse: Well, nothing specific, but whatever it was, it had to be personal. I mean, I remember talking to him. I could hear it in his voice before the gunfire — he wanted more than just information.
Robert: Well, like I said, it’s too late to find out now.
Jesse: So you been on the case 25 years now and you still have no clue why this guy snatched me from the hospital morgue, beat me, tortured me half to death, had a hole dug in the ground?
Robert: He was a clever man, papel.
Jesse: Yeah. Threatened my wife, my kid, grabbed my kid and Colby, obliterated 20 years of my life, and you don’t know any of that? And you’re F.B.I.?
Robert: We got a dossier on Papel that’s as thick as a phone book. We know how many tons of cocaine he moved from south america stateside, how many of his rivals he murdered including people that just looked at him cross-eyed, one of whom was John Remington and — we think — his mother.

Tad asks when John’s mother died and Derek interjects earlier tonight. He tells them that Angie and Krystal were there but it was already too late. Robert says Papel was a criminal genius but they got him. Jesse, Tad and Derek walk away as Robert turns toward the camera and whispers “Yeah, it was personal, Jesse — very personal.”

The rest is in the vidcap above…

That’s pretty much it for our storyline today - there was some chit chat between Angie-Frankie-Krystal-Adam about his heart, but not worth telling beyond that. As for previews for tomorrow they show ZIP for us. But I’ll keep you posted!!

Peace!!!

Yes. Thanks for posting this and for this blog!! This episode was great despite the dark cloud that is still looming. Until Jesse can remember Robert’s origami clue and piece it all together, we can at least look forward (let’s hope) to some sweet scenes involving our beautiful couple.

Yesterday’s episode was really good, especially when Jesse came home to Angie–gave me chills:-) I was like, “Damn, girl, go and get your man!!!” They are magic together. Like a great romance novel-you just can’t get enough!! Even though the reason for Jesse’s disappearance is still a mystery–watching these two rekindle a marriage after 20 years of seperation is going to be worth the cost of my monthly Tivo bill:-) And thanks so much for this web site. It’s good to know that I am not the only sistah out there obsessed with Jesse & Angie. Let’s keep this dialog going ya’ll!!!! Maybe, we’ll get a black couple on some of the other soap’s–GH, OLTL, Guiding Light????

Okay yesterdays epsiode was so sweet. Love the reunion scene especially with Jesse. Hopefully we can get some good scenes with them until the drama resurfaces. I just hope Tad and Jesse dont let their guard down with “uncle” Robert. Jese must know something really serious to keep that man that man on him like that but anyway. I hope we get more Jesse and Angie scenes. And Leolagirl know that you are not the only one who loves those two together!
