| March 26 | April 20, 2008 @ 2:52am | Almost time…. :D OH YES - we open with Jesse and Angie as they have a heartfelt talk about it being over and having to go see Derek to tie up loose ends. Cut over to Chandler mansion where Opal is telling Tad never to do that again, scare her like that with all the drama, etc.
Over at Tad’s house, Angie and Jesse are talking about it being 20 years, how Frankie is a grown man and now Jesse has the chance to know him again. Angie tells him he’s been given a gift and Jesse’s worried it will be taking away again. You can tell he’s still fearful it’s not over and Angie tries to soothe him telling him that Papel’s dead and Robert killed him. I’ll do a vidcap on some of this scene for you today. Angie tells him this is THEIR CHANCE AT HAPPINESS and THEY ARE GONNA TAKE IT - yeah, it’s a good scene… they look so very happy as they leave to see Derek! End scene.
Commercials….
Next scene is at Chandler mansion everyone still cooing over Robert. Opal pulls Tad aside to remind him that Robert is NOT RAY and Tad is still very resistent to it all but gives Opal a half-smile like he’ll try but you can see he’s so not buying Robert as a good guy just yet.
Colby comes home and sees everyone moving out and is sad. Tad tells her he’s proud of her and trudges back upstairs to get more of Jenny’s things - he calls her a diva and tells her her sherpa is coming LOL. He’s such a good daddy!
Jesse and Angie arrive at the station and they see the wall of fallen cops. Jesse sees his photo and name and reads it aloud. Just then Derek comes over and says he thinks it’s time they took down the photo of Jesse.
Commercials….VIDCAP FOR YA…IT’S BELOW - from the scene at the beginning of today’s storyline.
ICK ALERT - Robert shows up and says he’s sorry to intrude and Adam quickly cuts in and tells him he’s honored to have him in his home. They show Tad off to the side with a grimmace on his face (we’re with you Tad, Robert is EVIL).
Cut to intro muzak…
Back at Chandler mansion Robert has told them all he’s not retired. Adam gives him compliments (gag) and tells him he’s a genuine hero and then shock of all shocks, Krystal agrees he’s welcome anytime. Opal chimes in (no suprirse all she sees is a man). Tad asks him what’s next and Robert says he thinks he’s going to stay around PV.
Over at Chandler mansion Frankie stops by and Adam thanks him for getting Colby out alive last night. (I guess this is where they begin the “romance story” of C&F (ick)). Frankie and Colby share some sentimental words and he brought her a pair of shoes to replace the ones she broke while they were trying to get free. JR notices Frankie’s interest, which Babe thinks is cute but he’s not so sure so look for some fireworks there potentially. Frankie apologizes to her about calling her a spoiled child, yada yada.
Back over at PV police station, Derek is telling Jesse and Angie now that they know what’s what, they were finally able to link Rafael to this extensive east coast drug operation. Angie says hey owe Robert Gardner for ending this. Jesse asks if his investigation is completely closed and Derek tells him there are a few loose ends, but basically yes. I’ll do a bit of vidcap for this and tie in my little “tissue scene” for you soon!!!

BIG RUT RHO - Adam offers Robert a job EEK GADS! Robert sucks up to him and we all know how much Adam hates that NOT! So look for Adam to give Robert probably more info than we’ll ever want him to have at his disposal. Geeze these people are DUMB (Adam, Opal)!
VIDCAP BELOW…I’ve edited down today’s episode to just the police station scene with Angie & Jesse - TISSUE ALERT - JUST GET EM READY! I keep wanting to just rewind and watch this again and again. Warms ya  up Love them!!!
Other things that happened during this timeframe - JR came out to the foyer where Frankie and Colby were to thank him for saving Colby. He got really woozy and Frankie asked him if he was okay and told him he better get to a doctor because he looked like crap.
THEN WE SEE smarmy Robert on the phone (we don’t know who with) and he says “Don’t worry, everything’s going just according to plan. These people think I’m a hero. How long? Well, just as long as it takes Jesse Hubbard to give me what I want.”

SPOTLIGHT DIALOGUE OF THE DAY:
This is where Robert shows up at Chandler mansion today….
Adam: Well, if there’s anything I can do to help, don’t hesitate to ask.
Robert: Oh, my. First, I get the pleasure of meeting you, and now you’re offering to help me out. [Adam chuckles]
Adam: Nonsense. I am indebted to you for what you did for Colby.
Robert: Oh, it was an honor, believe me — not every day you get a chance to save the life of the daughter of the legendary Adam Chandler. [Adam chuckles]
Tad: “Legendary”?
Krystal: Huh, huh. That’s what he said.
Tad: Well, only Adam Chandler would fall for that line of B.S.
Krystal: Uh-huh. Well, he’s grateful. We all are.
Tad: Yep. Robert Gardner — the great american hero.
Opal: Tad? I know, honey, how hard this is for you, I really do — having a reminder of Ray Gardner sneaking up on you after all these years, bringing back memories of all the horrible things he did to you.
Tad: To all of us, mom.
Opal: That’s right — to all of us. But, you know, Robert is not Ray.
Tad: Yeah, I know that.
Opal: Do you?
Tad: Mama, I spent my entire life trying to get rid of memories of what Ray Gardner did to us. It does not make it that much easier for me to have that S.O.B. In there looking —
Opal: I know —
Tad: Just like him.
Opal: And bringing it all back. I understand. It did the same thing to me. But do you think you could do your mother a little favor?
Tad: Ah, do you really have to play the mother card right now?
Opal: Any chance I get. [Tad sighs]
Tad: What is it?
Opal: Just try to have an open mind. Ok?
Tad: Ok.

LMAO leolagirl47 - I’m happy to do it for all of you stuck in the working world outside your homes. I remember trying to find any site back in the day that would give me same day recaps let alone almost real time. I hated being there when I knew “my people” were on - such an addict am/was I LOL - so very glad to help!!! Okay back to my job of A&J recapping for y’all.

SHANNON3173 - okay i’ve been trying to figure this out and you may be on to something… I was thinking Angie maybe something with her Father, I mean he was the head of a baby stealing ring who know what else he was into… then again I was thinking maybe something with Jenny, I mean why is this so personal for Robert, I thought Jenny and Ray because Tad mentioned Jenny’s name in the beginning several times…but then again I think Jesse know’s more than what he’s saying…. or he’s surpressed it….. any thoughts?

this seen was too much… it really does brings tears to your eyes, I can not wait until Joe and Opal sees Jesse for the 1st time, I hope it’s a tear jerker, they really like Jesse and what about the lady that Jenny used to live with, is she still on the show, cant think of her name right now…

The JnA scenes were priceless. Jesse tentative, Angie reassuring him. Loved every bit of it. And dang it all if Jesse and Angie don’t look better than ever!!! Jesse was right–Angie is even more beautiful and so is he.
Keeper moment for me–”JH, are you with me?” “AH, I never left!” Whoa. These two are beautiful individually, uberbeautiful together and have the most realistic dialogue. Thanks to whoever brought them back. Now, if only poor Frankie could have a shot at the same magic! It’s time for Daytime to get a clue and spread the JnA magic around–I want to see more couples like them. They are one of a kind! Thank goodness. But they shouldn’t be the only. JMO.

Myrtle Fargate? I think that’s who you mean twana - she is on the show still but not very often due to her age and condition. We saw her a couple months or so ago in an Erica/Kendall scene - she’s so sweet - I love Myrtle.

Isn’t anybody going to realize Robert couldn’t have known about Mrs. Remington’s death unless he was involved. Derek had just come from the poor woman’s house. If Robert had been following Tad and Adam he couldn’t have possibly known anything about her demise.

I just finished watching the clip for the 3rd time, sooooo sweet:-)))) I’m just sitting here at my computer, with a big goofy grin on my face, looking crazy. Jesse is so fine and just every thing you’d want in a man!! SHANNON3173, I feel where you’re going with this, but honestly, as far as Jesse’s story line goes, I’m as lost as “George W. Bush at a NAACP BBQ” )) Orginally, I thought that maybe this could even be linked to Angie’s parents–but of course I hit a road block–hell, I couldn’t remember that far back. The Alzheimer is setting in:-))) Anybody else got a thought?????

jhgrl … I can not wait until Jesse really starts to piece this whole thing together …I mean really? your right how could he have known… maybe that’s one of the things once he sits back that jesse will ask himself… Angie is killing me with trying to make Jesse believe this is all over, don’t she realize her husband is a cop at heart with gut feelings and something is keeping him from totally believing… I know she thinks it’s just because he’s been looking over his shoulder for so long but I know it’s something deep down that is bothering him… I just hope he realizes it soon that something is ROBERT the snake

I had another thought. How could Joe, the doctor of the century have pronounced Jesse dead 20 years ago when he was very much alive. Last week Joe was rattled at learning Robert was in town and he talked to Angie about it. Is it possible that Papa Joe wasn’t as squeaky clean as we all thought? Maybe Robert was trying to avenge the Martins holding Ray accountable for what he did to Ruth. And maybe Robert had something on Joe. At least that would explain how Jesse’s body got out of the hospital. Just thinking out loud!

I cant remember that far back but my guess is they will make it look like Joe wasnt the one to pronounce him dead… remember this was well planned out by Robert and his cronies… we are going to try ourselves nuts trying to figure this all out….

You’re right Tawana–we are going to drive ourselves nuts trying to figure it out. As hard as it is, i say we hope no one of significance gets hurt when it all comes out (remember Dixie?) and that we can stomach Rob long enough and just celebrate the JnA reunion–because i am sure in JnA heaven:-) i can not wait until they renew their vows in front of pine valley (i believe this will happen since both of their previous ceremonies were with a justice of the peace)—just had an unpleasant thought–i hope they are not waiting until then to reveal all–anyway, here’s to the most beautiful couple on daytime–your talent and chemistry are unmatched!!

Ok Everyone, here I go again with one of my crazy thoughts, but when you watch the romance between these two did anyone think that this might really be real !!! Ok get this, on the View Debbie stresses that they they are like brother and sister BUT her boyfriend is in the audience also BUT In the interview on the show Soap Talk it gets DEEP !! If you pay attention real close they ask the both of them there first impression of each other Darnell says she’s the love of his life, Debbie says that he is the next closes thing besides her husband and they did keep in touch all these years he also mentions that they helped each other Professionally and PERSONALY now what ya’ll does anyone agree ?

Thanks again for the re-cap and Vidcap I can’t wait for Soapnet! I have watch the clips several times and all I can say is WOW! I have not been this excited about a couple in a very longtime!
Angie and Jesse are one of kind…I’m waiting for that third exxhange of vowels I know it will be pure magic.
Watching Angie and Jesse makes me feel 20 years younger, it seems like they never left….Jesse is right DM does better than ever and he is one FINE man!
I do not know where this storyline will lead, but I’m, willing to follow…..just keep my favorites together!!

Hey Shannon3173 i have been seriously wondering the same thing!!! While i know chemistry between actors certainly exists, the two of them have a fire and a connection that is so obvious one can only think that there are feelings that go beyond ”brother/sister/friendship”. Have you noticed how they look at and touch each other during that soaptalk interview–okay maybe that is a bit overanalytical– but it looked so natural….just a thought. i just have a hard time believing that DW and DM have never been romantically linked for real….hmmm

Aleta, Yea your right about that too I really hope that when they do get married again that they film the wedding in a place like they did Erika & Jack like Hawii or somewhere exotic then maybe she’ll come up pregnant again, cause you know they never really did get a chance to raise Frankie together all those years, I get chills watching them !!!

Shannon3173 i too feel the chills and think an island wedding would be fantastic. The pregnancy thing would be so cool, especially since when her character was on loving or the city–one of them–she found out that she couldn’t have anymore children…what a great thought and storyline–then when Tad gets kate back (with baby jenny too) they can raise the next generation of martins and hubbards together on the show. We can dream together:-)

I do not know if they will do a follow up with the sickle cell storyline from the other shows.
I do know a child born to a sickle cells mother would be high risk, the trait or the disease could be passed to the child ,but since Frankie is healthy and when he was ill no one brought up the possibity of the disease maybe that point was dropped.
I would like to see Angie and Jesse in a family setting and alot of alone time for the two of them!

I agree with the idea of a big, wonderful wedding. Angie never got one and if anyone deserves it, she does! I loved both clips, but her smile after he says “Yeah!” is positively luminous! Whatever their personal relationship may be, onscreen I can honestly say I am mesmerized! Darnell Williams is so fine! And Miss Debbi, well we all know she is perfection! Together, they really are a perfect match! I hope Angie and Jesse get lots of happiness and (for our sakes) lots of screen time! Cheers!

Did anyone else notice in the last two shows that Darnell W sounds like he is ill….cold …flu…congestion..horase ….nasal… etc.
I think that why we are not getting any Angie/Jesse kissing during the last two shows.
Now you can see how I pay close attention to every detail concerning Darnell W.
I confess, I watch my Angie/Jesse scenes over and over again.

Dang! We have alot fo dialiouge today and I’m loving it. I thought I was the only one to watch their scenes over and over. I am getting ready to watch in a few. Anyway I hope Jesse does start putting this together especially when Robert starts up with that origami business. Jesse is a cop at heart and he will figure it out I just hope he sneaks up on the snot nosed Robert. Anyway yes Darnell is fine and SHANNON I did see that interview and I thought in the back of mind IfI made that kind of comment about another man, I dont think my husband would be very happy with that. But anyway her boyfriend is a good man if he deal not to many men could handle his woman being that close to another man. But I feel you girl with that. Hopefully whatever their personal lives they are both very happy!

Shannon3173, I’m with you on that “real life” romance, because I also pay a lot of attention to details and I tend to watch the interviews and A &J episodes over and over again. So, do you remember on the VIEW once DM, introduced her “honey” in the audience, DW then put his arm behind her on the sofa and he sat like that for the rest of the show, as if he was claiming his “honey”…hmmmmm???? Also, on the View the 2 D’s were very in sync with one another. When Whoopi said she had starred in that movie Soap, DW pointed at Whoopi and almost simuntanously so did DM. Then when DM was explaining to Sherry how another actress took her place as Angie in the past…she started to rubbed her eye and DW did the exact same thing. ANNNNNNNND, did you see how DW looked and DM when she said on the View that she didn’t like “bi-coastal relationship” she was having with her new love before AMC called her to come back???

Also Shannon3173, when DM did an interview she was talking about the scene when Jesse died and she said her emotions were so strong for that scene because she didn’t want DW to leave and she had begged him to stay and as she talked about how she was so emotional then, she became emotional just speaking about it…20 YRS LATER. A person had to have had and still have strong feelings for a person to still feel all that emotion 20 years later. Maybe DW has been single all this time waiting for DM to realize that they are soulmates! I mean their names both starts with a D for heaven sakes! Is that fate or what??? LOL!

OH, I forgot to say hello to everyone (new to the A&J blog) and thank Otter for this site…you are doing an AWESOME job! I haven’t watched ANY soap in 13 years. When I just happened to see AMC at the beginning of Feb and realized that A&J were coming back, I said I was just going to watch the reunion and not get caught up. Needless to say, I am very caught up! Did you all know that Jenny will be coming back on May 2? I think it was on Soapnet where I read that. She will lead Tad to his baby. Also, Angies daughter Cassandra will eventually make it to PV! My friend seems to think that Jesse having to be on the run all those years have something to do with Angies father. Is there a clip out there with the episode of Jesse dying? I didn’t see when Jesse was shot and then died…I would like to see that. OHHHH, back to this real life romance thing (sorry, but I’m a hopeless romantic), did anyone see that phenomonal scene when Angies dad was killed. DW & DM had to have pulled that acting scene, the emotion, from relationship drama that they had together for real…it’s on youtube. Check it out and tell me what you all think.

What if the person Rob is talking to on the phone is Samuel? After all…the spoilers said he is supposed to offer Jesse a job…when did he even meet Jesse…I don’t think he has. I think the person that Rob is talking to on the phone is Papel! Rob is not the one in charge…there’s still a head honcho out there! I wish we knew who the heck Rob was talking to on that dang phone…it’s driving me crazy!! And also…what the heck is actually lookin’ for!! Obviously it’s not the necklace! I think diamonds and drugs both are involved.

I watched those scenes and they rip your heart out, Oh my God ,the acting in those scenes are raw emtions and seem way beyond personal the heart aches for both Angie and Jesse! The death bed scenes is a classic, I wish we had clippis of the entire scenes and the scenes where Jesse tells Angie about her father OMG!
My co-workers and I were also talking about the connection with Angie’s father,did he really head that baby selling ring or is there a connection with Rob and Angie father? Oh the possibilites of where this storyline will lead!
I also wonder if Cassandra will mention how much Jesse looks like Jacob!
AlsoI like the real life connection, I’m always trying to read little personal signal into their scenes. For example ,I think DW was ill during the last few scenes, his voice was just not there, his eyes looked sick and we did not get alot of kissing, in those scenes Angie was not only trying to look out for Jesse, DM was trying to care for DW.

I love this Site!!! And you guys are fun!!! Count me in as one of those who watches Jesse and Angie’s stuff over and over again. I even had one of my friends who doesn’t work in the daytime record just their scenes for me. So now I have a reg AMC tape and one with just JnA scenes–since Jesse came back on Jan. 25th. Watching it is better than watching anything on Lifetime! LOL. Love me some JnA.
I would also love to have this whole mystery tied to Les Baxter. Would be a great way of utilizing AMC’s history and his hatred of Jesse. And if I get to see HuggyBear again (who looks I lot like DW, IMO) I’d be THRILLED!
And yes, Jav, I also think DM and DW have an amazing connection. When I was little I used to want them to be married b/c I didnt’ think there was anyway you could be that nsync with someone without being married in real life. And, I’d be thrilled if DW and DM ended up together in real life.
But for now, I appreciate their talent, their beauty and the amazing friendship that led them back to AMC and back to my life. Truth be told, I feel how Angie did when she was trying to reassure Jesse about not loving Remy– I never let go of your heart. Never.
I never let go of Jesse and Angie. Never. Having Angie back and Jesse–back from the “dead” is a gift.

DLyne…you may be on to something! Samuel…hmmmmm??? Could be! I never thought of that. Well, undoubetly there is another BIGGER diamond that Robert seems to believe Jesse has or knows where it is.
