| An Entire Family | August 23, 2008 @ 9:24am | I have a big problem with this. If he was on the run so much and stayed away to protect Angie and Frankie what sense does it make for him to start another family. He said he didnt stay anywhere longer than six months-long enough to get someone preg but an entire family. I am hating Pratt already.

I'm at the wait and see stage.....because all of this is so out of character for Jesse...and does not make a lot sense!!
I hope that Pratt doesnot destroy the character....that I will not be able to watch!
Hope the actors and the creator of the character Anges Nixon will be able to have input what happens to the show.
Drama and story telling is one thing but this just not the Jesse we know and love!!
I could be totally wrong, but I think it was just brainstorming of the writers that was tossed around as a possibility.
AMC could not afford to lose any more viewers..they know what Angie and Jesse bring to the table in viewership!!

I GUESS THEM NOT GETTING ANY NOMINATIONS AT THE EMMY'S HAVEN'T SUNKEN IN YET. I HAVE VISITED OTHER BOARDS AND THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT HOW BORING THE SIX OF THEM ARE. After it was announced that the writers had been fired, it definitely appears as though AnJ's scenes changed. I can't even remember the last time they had one of those Special Intimate scenes we'd all talk about afterward.

| IF ITS NOT BROKE THEN DON'T FIX IT | August 24, 2008 @ 12:35pm | THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH ANJ BESIDES ANGIE LATTING CASS TALK TO JESSE ANY KIND OF WAY. THEY HAD A WONDERFUL RELATIONSHIP AND NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE KENDALL AND ZAC BE THE NEW JESSE AND ANGIE. THEY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO PULL THAT OFF AND LIKE I SAID, IF THEY DON'T DO SOMETHING REAL SOON, THEN AMC WILL BE IN LAST PLACE IN THE RATINGS AND THERE WILL BE NO EMMY NOMINEES AGAIN THIS YEAR BESIDES ANJ.
I JUST READ AN THE ANOTHER BOARD THAT JACK/CARMEN;AIDAN/GREENLEE;KENDALL/ZAC AND JAKE/AMANDA WILL ALL HAVE LOVE SCENES NEXT WEEK AND THER IS NO KIND OF ROMANCE WITH ANGIE AND JESSE. I'M ONLY GOING TO WATCH THE COUPKLE OF DAYS THAT ANJ ARE ON BECAUSE THE SIX PACK WILL BE ON ALL WEEK AS USUAL AND THEY WONDER WHY THEIR RATINGS ARE LOW AND NOONE IS WATCHING.

| One last thing from me on this subject and I'm done! | August 24, 2008 @ 4:33pm | I spent about over a hour on Saturday doing searches on all types of website regarding this so called Jessie second family post. (there are over 176,000 HITS) No one except for someone on a Soapnet blog even mentions ANYTHING about Jesse and a second family. There is a very interesting site called Pine Valley Bulletin. Anything and everything you want to know about Pine Valley the lady who created the site would love to hear from you. So I sent an email and below is the response I got.
I think it's important that we learn about Jesse's last 20 years, and I do think there will be some people coming to the show that are part of that past. A whole other family though? I can't imagine that would be true. You're exactly right, how do they explain the wedding and everything if he has another family out there somewhere? Why would he just abandon them and return to Angie? It doesn't make sense.

After I read that on Friday--I haven't look at the site or anything. If they mess up Jesse's character like that ...I'm thru. I agree this doesn't make any sense and doesn't fit with the story given to Angie originally JMO

So... does this mean Jesse knows he has this entire family out there? Was this entire family sired with the same woman?
If this is the case, Jesse has changed for the worst. This would mean that he has knowingly left not just the mother of his children, but his CHILDREN behind. Since he has stepped back into being Jesse Hubbard, husband to Angie Hubbard and father to Frankie Hubbard, he appears to have deliberately put this other family aside.
I will be truly sad if Jesse has turned into an deadbeat father.

Yeah, I agree. Angie and Jesse's situations are totally different. And again, if he just abandoned this other family and walked back into Angie and Frankie's lives without being upfront to his first family and his second family, that's just wrong and there is no excuse for it.
It's not fair to the family he abandoned and it's not fair to Angie and Frankie.
I am really hoping that this is a case where he was with a woman (maybe unknowingly fathered a child) and the woman is showing up wanting an explanation.

I agree completely. Even if Jesse didn't know he had fathered a child in every town, it doesn't make him look good... he doesn't know how to use a condom?

I agree. We know Jesse wasn't perfect but one of the things we loved about him was how he loved his family... Angie and Frankie.
Now, if he not only went out and made another family but then turned around and just dropped that family to pick up where he left off with Angie and Frankie, it makes him look simply horrible.
If he built an ENTIRE family it makes me wonder about his statements to Angie during their wedding about him living in darkness. This Entire family thing makes Jesse look like a liar and I really don't want to see that.
But I will wait and see how it plays out... what else can I do huh?
