| February 10, 2009 @ 6:46pm | I SO loved Natalia and jesse today! This is what we need to see, Jesse being a daddy to all of his kids not just Frankie. Birthday boy was so cute today!
My heart broke for Natalia but she coulda shed more tears than that! Her mother died!

VB,
What we Need to see is Jesse in scenes with his Son, getting to know him better.
Frankie was the one in Pain all those years.
This is about Jesse, Angie and Frankie.

Right now Natalia's mother is dead so she needs him right now, but Pratt hasn't given Jesse much time to try and forge a better relationship with the child he left for 20 years and has had him spending a lot of time with the one he watched grow up.

To put it Bluntly, I don't care about Natalia.
Pratt thought he was going to make Jesse, Angie and Frankie Props for Reblocka and Natalia, but AnJ Fans made sure he knew otherwise.

| February 10, 2009 @ 8:58pm | I, too, liked Jesse & Natalia scenes today. Im finally starting to see the father/daughter chemistry between Darnell & Shannon. Tad was some kind of hilarious!!!!
I felt for Natalia...to be sucker punched w/ that news outta the blue is hard. Jesse did what any father would do w/ any of his children....he was there for her. |

I agree Dandd! While he may have done the right thing by being there for her, the point is that Natalia is Pratt's creation and since Frankie sort of comes with it, he is left on the back burner. I'm surprised he hasn't found a way to kill Frankie off! Jesse did and does need more time with his SON!! This is an outrage |

I must admit... I didn't feel bad for Jesse thinking Angie had forgotten his birthday... my first reaction when they came out singing was Jesse doesn't deserve this!!!
Angie has carried the bulk of this mess, his mess yet they are celebrating him... I don't even feel bad that his party was interrupted by news of Becca's death.
I would have been PO'd had this been a party celebrating Angie and Jesse's woman interrupts that... but since it was his, I just wasn't that upset about it.
Yes, I love Jesse but I just didn't care that his party got rained on.

I definitely Disagree with you about that.
It should have been All about Jesse, Angie and Frankie celebrating that long overdue day together.
As for Angie, Jesse made a mistake by not telling her the truth and she forgave him and moved on. I see nothing wrong with that.

I agree that it should have been about Angie, Frankie and Jesse but we didn't even get to see Angie and Frankie have a one on one conversation with Jesse... we were given Jesse and Natalia.

I don't have a problem with Angie forgiving Jesse for his lies... I just wasn't feeling sympathy for him because "Angie forgot his birthday" because while she was lighting candles in his memory, he was blowing out candles with his other family...
Angie remembered his birthday for 20 long years... if she forgot this one, I wouldn't have been mad at her...

You are on Jesse's case about things that were Never discussed On Screen.
Given what we have seen On Screen, I have no problem with the way Angie has handled it all.

Don't get me wrong... I have no problem with Angie throwing him a birthday party... it's just that my initial reaction when they came out singing was he doesn't deserve all this (his lies make that so), that Angie is the one that needs to be celebrated given what was revealed about Jesse and how Angie bent over backwards these last few months to make his family comfortable... this was my knee jerk reaction.
It's still a bitter pill to swallow to know he was off raising Natalia, going Christmas shopping, having birthday parties while Frankie was left fatherless and Angie was lighting candles in his memory.
Yes, we haven't been told if Jesse had it hard on holidays but we have been told that Christmases were "wonderful" so for now all I have is his holidays were good... so now he's back with Angie and she "forgets" his birthday... given what I have been told, it's hard to muster sympathy for him.

FORGET PRATT RIGHT NOW!
While I respect your opinion about Natalia, I don't see why some of you would have a problem with HER! And I don't understand why some of you were not upset with Jesse's lying to his wife. AND HE DID LIE! Not one time did he tell her the truth! Until it was necessary to do so!
Back to Natalia. She wasn't asked to be brought into this situation and neither was Frankie or Angie. Jesse and REBECCA knew what the deal was and went into the situation mutually. No one put a gun to Jesse's head and made him do this. Now that REBECCA is DEAD and GONE it is JESSE"S duty as Natalia's father to be there for his daughter. A parent's job is never done no matter how old the child is. This isn't about Frankie right now. Jesse's been available to Frankie. Jesse's reached out to Frankie. It's up to FRANKIE to extend his hand and accept his father's. And furthermore, Frankie has forgiven Jesse. As evidenced today, Angie has accepted Natalia as Jesse's child and her stepdaughter. And Frankie's accepted her as his sister. I don't have a problem with it now.

okay on this one i think we'll agree. I did kinda find it strange that he blew the candle out right after she lit it and then looked around. He's not hiding out anymore so what was the problem?
