FORGET PRATT RIGHT NOW!
While I respect your opinion about Natalia, I don't see why some of you would have a problem with HER! And I don't understand why some of you were not upset with Jesse's lying to his wife. AND HE DID LIE! Not one time did he tell her the truth! Until it was necessary to do so!
Because Jesse admitted he lied, explained that he didn't want to hurt her and he apologized. Angie Vented, accepted his reason and Forgave him. No one is Infallible.
Back to Natalia. She wasn't asked to be brought into this situation and neither was Frankie or Angie. Jesse and REBECCA knew what the deal was and went into the situation mutually. No one put a gun to Jesse's head and made him do this. Now that REBECCA is DEAD and GONE it is JESSE"S duty as Natalia's father to be there for his daughter. A parent's job is never done no matter how old the child is. This isn't about Frankie right now. Jesse's been available to Frankie. Jesse's reached out to Frankie. It's up to FRANKIE to extend his hand and accept his father's. And furthermore, Frankie has forgiven Jesse. As evidenced today, Angie has accepted Natalia as Jesse's child and her stepdaughter. And Frankie's accepted her as his sister. I don't have a problem with it now.
Yes, Frankie and Angie have done all of those things and now it's All about Jesse, Angie and Frankie Reconnecting. I don't care about Natalia one way or the other. My point is, Frankie Should Not be sacrificed for her.

| Even before the news came and Jesse went off to be with Nattie all we saw was Jesse with her discussing his birthday and what they use to do. This is the first birthday in 20 years that Frankie gets to celebrate but yet we got no one-on-one with him and Jesse, only the child he's spent the last 20 years celebrating with.
We could have still seen Jesse and Natalia do their thing but there also should have been a one on one with Angie/Jesse and Frankie/Jesse because quite frankly, that is more important to long time viewers because we are invested in the Hubbards much more than we are in Jesse/Natalia... it's the Hubbards reunited after 20 years apart story we came back for and wanted to see... and since Christmas was about Jesse's memories with his mistress and baby instead of forging something new with Angie and Frankie, it would have been nice to see the Hubbards have a private moment to rejoice that they are back together sharing Jesse's first birthday since he "rose from the dead".
Natalia and her time with Jesse didn't need to be cut out but neither should Angie and Frankie's time with him have been MIA either.

As for Angie forgiving him, when, where and how did this happen?! That didn't come out of her mouth! He didn't even ask her for forgiveness. Just kept saying he was sorry. Okay, he's sorry. But can I get a Please forgive me?! Not one time did that come out of his mouth! I forgive you should NOT be implied. It should be said and heard!
I agree with you on this. But IMO Frankie is NOT being sacrificed for her. I don't see that. I see a father dividing his time between his two children. I saw that the day Big Daddy reprimanded Baby Boy for his behavior towards Randi which was well deserved (DON"T GO THERE! I STILL DON"T LIKE HER!)
EVERYONE thought Natalia was going to come between Angie and Jesse and she hasn't done that one time, and thought that she was gonna cause trouble between them. Not one time has she done that/

Continuing the conversation from yesterday.
Don't get me wrong... I have no problem with Angie throwing him a birthday party... it's just that my initial reaction when they came out singing was he doesn't deserve all this (his lies make that so), that Angie is the one that needs to be celebrated given what was revealed about Jesse and how Angie bent over backwards these last few months to make his family comfortable... this was my knee jerk reaction.
It's still a bitter pill to swallow to know he was off raising Natalia, going Christmas shopping, having birthday parties while Frankie was left fatherless and Angie was lighting candles in his memory.
Yes, we haven't been told if Jesse had it hard on holidays but we have been told that Christmases were "wonderful" so for now all I have is his holidays were good... so now he's back with Angie and she "forgets" his birthday... given what I have been told, it's hard to muster sympathy for him.
Again, Angie accepted his reason for lying, forgave him and decided to stay with him. Angie has done the right thing. She Should Not be like some women who say they've forgiven, yet hold it against their man by constantly bringing it up. It's over and she Keeps Falling More and More In Love With Him.

| Angie's forgiving of Jesse was poorly written to say the least... he did nada, I mean NADA to earn her trust back... all we heard was that Becca proclaimed Jesse only lied to protect Angie... now come on!! Sure I agree that Jesse didn't want to hurt Angie by telling her he spent the last 20 years with another woman and child but the bottom line is... Jesse lied to protect himself because he knew what he did was wrong and he was scared of Angie finding out he not only lied about how he spent the last 20 years but those 20 years were spent in the cozy bed of Becca... it is preposterous that Angie swallowed that manure and there was no discussion of how he ruined a basic foundation in their marriage... I have always hated how that went down and still do.

| Dealing with only yesterday, we didn't see him dividing his time between them. All of his alone time was with Nattie (and I'm talking pre Becca is dead phone call). I have no problem with him going after her when the news came... my problem is on such a big event... Jesse's first B-day home with his family in 20 years... we got NO private time with him and Frankie/Angie but we got a ton of private time with the one he's been with the last 20 years (again, not counting the alone time in Angie's loft).
And lastly... I am on your side :D ...
I agree and don't think Natalia is the devil's spawn (a liar's spawn but not the devil's... I'm giving Jesse what-for today ) but yesterday, it should have gone down different and we should have been given some Jesse/Frankie and Jesse/Angie alone time especially since we got pre Mom is gone news Jesse/Natalia alone time.

VB,
Come on now.
Angie is still with him and as she said, "I keep falling more and more in love with you." That tells me she has forgiven him.
You've just proven my point. Jesse giving Frankie Fatherly Advice should have been a scene with them alone. Name another scene where it has just been the two of them Bonding.

As I said in the post above, that whole Jesse lied/Angie forgives him at the word of his mistress grates on me so Angie forgiving still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth because this wasn't something they worked thru together and Jesse proved himself that he could be trusted... it was worked thru between Angie and the other woman and that's just foul to say the least... it comes across as ok since Becca said it was OK for him to lie then I'll forgive him instead of Angie challenging him and what his lies did to thier marriage... destoryed the trust... and them, minus the mistress, working it out since it's their (not their and Becca's) marriage.

That scene when Natalia mentions celebrating the birthday's at home because Jesse was hiding out and Jesse saying he hates being sang to in public places was the same as the Jesse's favorite food EPPY..
In other words, Angie and Frankie didn't know Jesse like Natalia and Reblocka. As I said, Pratt made it all about them once again.

Mere,
Given what was shown, Angie handled it the correct way. That's why I said you are on Jesse's case about things that were Never Shown On Screen.
All the blame goes to Pratt and his pathetic writing.

| You think so... I didn't see it as Nattie knowing Jesse better than Frankie and Angie because it seemed she thought he didn't like it because he was in "hiding" where as Jesse seemed to have not liked it at all whether in hiding or not.
Since he's no longer in "hiding" Nattie saw no problem giving him the cupcake in public. Also, Nattie knew what was planned so if this is something she knew about Jesse that Angie didn't Nattie should have told her that Jesse doesn't like public displays that focus on him... I am sure Angie would have honored his wishes and had something private instead.

| But what we did see was Angie saying Becca helped her see that Jesse only lied because yada, yada, yada... Angie never should have been convinced that he only lied to protect her because that's just bogus.
Also, we have no indication of what happened off screen so I have no way of knowing if Angie challenged Jesse, if Jesse worked to earn her trust back. The only indication I have is that Angie bought the manure Becca dished out.
They didn't need to show us every thing but a line or 2 to indicate they were working on this issue would have been nice and something tangible... the only tangible thing we have is Becca helped Angie see Jesse lied to protect her.

Mere,
Still, the scene was about what Natalia and Reblocka shared with Jesse. The Focus was on them again and if she told Angie that the focus is still on them.
