Jesse is trying to prevent Ryan from going back out there. He asked what happened. Ryan explained the entire Zach/Reese/Greenlee mess.
Jesse- It was an accident?
Ryan blamed it all on Zach.

But I swear Im gonna start calling Jesse Barney Fife. He gets worse every day as Chief. He holds the title but lets the citizens run the show. Okay thats all I'll say.

That is more one thing we can stick it to PRATT about, not "Jesse's" fault; he only does what the writers have scripted for him. It seems to me he is makin it his busniess to mess with his character since he got backlashed for ruining the s/l to begin with and was forced to get rid of Rebecca essentially. Just saying.... I think its his way of having a stick out his tongue tantrum... JMHO

However it still goes back to lack of writing and adding depth to his character as the C.O.P. Unfortunately the person writing for his character and Angie's is doing so without really understanding the essence of who they are or how to incorporate their chosen professions as well. It sucks but at the end of the day its is the lack of good writing that we get when it comes to character development or in Pratt's case the lack thereof. JMHO

This doesn't surprise me AT ALL. If James & Barbara were still HWs, yes. But w/ Pratt not a chance. He has proven time and time again.... he doesn't know, want to know, or respect the history of ANY of the characters. |
