MURNTING NATION!!!!

WOW, looks as if we will have a wedding today, huh? I think they should have consulted TP for this wedding. Yall know Tyler can hook a wedding the HECK UP!!! I'm just saying. He probably would have had the JOP office with floating angels....ok I know I'm getting carried away. But what woman don't love a wedding or even the THOUGHT of a wedding. And they are such an adorable couple! a* It's the AA version of Pretty Woman on the soap operas! tu)

I have some thoughts about Randi's character. Here's how I see it...we ALL make mistakes, bad decisions and wrong choices in life. Some...most are due to our childhood and environment. Life can sometimes deal us a bad hand. But you know that you have won the battle in life when you can pick yourself up from everything that may have gone wrong in your childhood, brush yourself off, tell satan to get behind you and start walking in the purpose, plan and divine destiny that God have for you since the beginning, when you were yet in your mothers womb. Before others helped to get your life off on the wrong path. Seems to me that's what Randi has done, taken the mess that was made out of her life and turned it into good.

And that would be in REAL LIFE...but art imitates life to a certain degree. All of us are but filthy rags when we go before God, but HE sees us covered in the blood of his son, who gave up his life for our transgressions. HE also sees that HE has wonderfully made us. So he shows us mercy and grace. We are his masterpieces, when HE created us, he didn't create prostitutes, drug addicts, alcoholics, overeaters, gamblers, jezebels (controlling,manipulating spirits), delilahs (lustful spirits)liars, thieves, deceivers, adulters, fornicators...must I go on? And by the way, If you fall under any of those categories, you are no better than Randi or anyone like her in REAL LIFE. If God, our Creator, can overlook our faults, who are we to condemn others?

I believe in the right for everyone to have their opinion. I believe that we all are grownups and can have a discussion, even heated without condeming others or thinking that our opinions are the RIGHT opinions and everyone elses opinion is wrong. I've seen EXTREMES on both sides. There has been over the top Love and hate for certain characters. One character you couldn't say anything wrong about them, the other you couldn't say anything right about. Sometimes I sit back and watch these discussions and think, DAYUMShocked Laugh ...it'a soap opera yall! Both sides of the debate has taken some of these storylines and/or characters waaaay too seriously. And DAMMITShocked Laugh to be honest those extremes have made it not fun for some of the rest of us... JMHO!Wink

Enjoy the show and have a bless day! LOVE YALLWink

Scripture to marinate on for yourself and others:

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother's womb.
I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I'd even lived one day.

The Nation,

My problem as of late is people Can't seem to Forgive and Move On after past mistakes were made.

Take Jesse and Angie for example. I keep reading that Angie forgave Jesse too quickly or they should've separated for a while.

My point is, what rule states you must wait a certain amount of time before you Forgive someone and Move On. Why should Angie, who got over the Anger, Fear and Secrets deprive herself of loving that Man she was without for 20 years just because some believe she forgave him too quickly. No, I didn't agree with the way Angie handled everything, but her Heart was in the right place. A lot of people could learn a thing or two from Dr. Angela Hubbard.

The Only indication Jesse ever gave was that he was In Love With and Wanted Angie, so I don't see what the problem is.

Since some Nation members aren't happy with Jesse and Angie, my question to the Nation is, would you have wanted Jesse and Angie behaving like Zach and Kendall?

VB,

Some aren't happy with the way Jesse and Angie resolved everything and they're still mad at Jesse in particular, so I was just wondering if they wanted to see the Immature, disrespectful Zach/Kendall formula from Jesse and Angie.

Though I will bring up what Jesse did, I am not mad at him. My problem is that the issue was resolved on the say so of Jesse's other woman... we got to see absolutely no resolving or working things out between Angie and Jesse.

Yes, God forgives us our sins but let's be real here... only He sees our hearts and knows if we are truly repentant and if we can be trusted.

How many of us would pick right up and continue to blindly trust our husband if we discovered he told us a pack of lies and to the magnitude that Jesse did? Would we not require a time of rebuilding on his part because we have no way of knowing if anything he's told us is true? All those things Jesse said at the wedding... how can Angie trust them when he was not on the run 20 weeks, let alone 20 years... and he wasn't alone at all but living with a woman who loved him, whom he loved in his own way and a child he loved enough to stay there and raise.

God also created seed time and harvest... Jesse planted the seeds of lies and it takes more than an all night conversation with his mistress to destroy the harvest of lies (again, Jesse did nothing in the way of explaining to Angie why HE lied... it was his mistress doing his work for him).

Yes, Angie should have forgiven Jesse but even God would not have required her to trust him until he planted seeds of trust and that harvest sprouted up.

David is a perfect example... God forgave his transgressions but there was still a price David had to pay and he paid for years after his sins, even to the tune of his oldest son being killed.

And then we have Jesus, who is the son of God who was planted (buried). Even that good, marvelous, matchless seed didn't reap a harvest immediately...

That is how God set up the system. Seed time and then you harvest.

After Jesse destroyed the foundation of their marriage, we didn't see him planting seeds of trust to rebuild that foundation... and that is the problem...

As for forgiving mistakes and moving on, Becca should have been forgiven around these parts also...

I consider myself a forgiving person. (This is in reference to Jesse) I'll forgive you for one lie. But when I'm asking a person to be honest with me, (I can handle anything. As long as you're honest) and then you look me in the face and straight up lie to me time and time again, I have a right to be angry, I have a right to lash out.

Obviously if you are lying to me, you are NOT considering my feelings, you are not considering how I might feel if the truth were to come out any other way then out of your mouth! Lying to me to protect my feelings is not loving me. That shows blatant and utter disrespect! The situation could have been avoided if Jesse had just told Angie the truth. THAT"S MY PROBLEM! He hurt her ten times worse when she finally discovered the truth. I agree with Mer on everything she said above.

After Jesse destroyed the foundation of their marriage, we didn't see him planting seeds of trust to rebuild that foundation... and that is the problem...

As for forgiving mistakes and moving on, Becca should have been forgiven around these parts also...

and in part Natalia too!

ooohhhh... I forgot about that... that is yet another seed of deception Jesse planted... Angie gave him free reign to be honest... she was prepared to hear the truth and made it known that she still loved him but yet he continued to lie...

This is the perfect example of why we should have seen Jesse work to earn Angie's trust again because he really did a number on that trust.

Going back to Jesse's vows in light of his lies...

We should have gotten to see Angie address this with him... how could he be in silence, total darkness when he was singing the veggie song in duet with his mistress, going Christmas shopping, having wonderful Christmases etc... these are natural questions that Angie and the viewers should have had answers to from Jesse.

I hear....March 24, 2009 @ 2:18pm
all of that however the point is, is that you wont get that the time has passed for it. Should have are the operative words, we did not get it and will not... the s/l has already been wrapped up.....it's typical Charles Pratt.... I guess my thinking is here IF WE ALL KNOW that Pratt came along and changed the entire background of the story saying to make it fit what he wanted then....... I am just saying nothing at this point will change what we have been given and how the resolution of that situation was handled. Just have to move forward because Angie and Jesse already have.

Again I say we HAVE to remember those things were said under the scripting of totally different writers and their s/l had nothing to do with PRATT's. He ignored the previous details to create what he thought would be this wonderful story. The S/l from Jan to August 2008 and Oct 2008 to now are two totally different stories!!!!! So there you have it. Circles can be walked around the topic from now til Jesus himself returns but thats what we were given.... whether we like or not

Anyway thats it for me on that topic, just waiting to see how little A living with them will get things rattled with David and KWAK.

Although Pratt played the snippet game, the Vows were so fitting. Randi is absolutely Gorgeous.

Very touching scene when Angie gave up the Ring to Frankie and Randi. Now that was a Tissue Moment.

Great job by Denise, Cornelius and Debbi.
