John 2:19-21 (The Message)
But the Jews were upset. They asked, "What credentials can you present to justify this?" Jesus answered, "Tear down this Temple and in three days I'll put it back together."
They were indignant: "It took forty-six years to build this Temple, and you're going to rebuild it in three days?" But Jesus was talking about his body as the Temple. Later, after he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered he had said this. They then put two and two together and believed both what was written in Scripture and what Jesus had said.

| EASTER PRAYER | April 11, 2009 @ 3:16am | Heavenly Father and God of mercy,
We believe that Jesus is alive and has
become the Lord of life.
From the waters of Baptism you have
raised us with him and renewed your
gift of life within us.
Increase in our minds and hearts
the risen life we share with Christ
and help us to grow in your
wisdom and grace.
Lord Jesus, you appeared to your
apostles after the resurrection and filled
their hearts with joy when you said to them
"Peace be with you".
May the peace of your presence
abide with us and make each day you
give us the most beautiful day of our lives.
Lord Jesus, you triumphed over death and
destroyed the power of death in us,
may we live only for you.
Risen Lord, you brought confusion
on the guards at your tomb but joy
to your disciples, grant us the fullness
of joy as we serve you in spirit and truth.
You promised to be with your disciples,
Lord, to the end of the world, stay with
us today and remain with us always.
King of glory, center of our lives,
grant that when you come again, we may
be one with you in glory.
Lord, remember us as in my own way we
minister to your people, may our lives
be holy and an example to your people.
Lord Jesus, purify our hearts with your truth
and guide us in the way of holiness,
so that we may always do what is
pleasing in your sight.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.

This is the reason why I don't want you to stop doing the weekend inspiration poems. Although I do not attend church services, I do believe in God's power and love. Im going thru alot right now and each and every single one of your weekend posts have seen me thru it all. I don't know how to explain it. But everytime I think about giving up and just letting things go, your posts have pulled me thru. I thought about that when you said you thought you should stop posting. Please don't Jav.
We may fuss and fight on here about our beliefs and opinions, but at the end of the day we're all about the love of a mighty fine couple! And we are all about the love of our Lord and Savior. I hope this makes sense cause Im in tremendous amount of pain and Im babbling. Im on meds right now and im bout to fall out. So I just wanted to thank you and let you know how much I appreciate this!

| HAPPY EASTER!!!! | April 12, 2009 @ 3:46am | VB...EVERYONE, I appreciate that you ALL appreciate the time I take to put a weekend inspiration post together. Although, these are not always my thoughts/prayers/poems or inspirations, I DO take time to not only put these post together, but to listen to God when I'm chosing/thinking or writing what God wants me to say on each one of these posts. Even tho, I haven't LATELY been writing these on my own, I do take time to find the scriptures and songs.
I believe because I try to be in tune with the Holy Spirit when I'm finding material to do these post, is why you, Angela, and others as well, continue to tell me that each weekend it's as if they are speaking to a situation in your life.
V, going to church is good, scriptures warn in Hebrews 10:25-27, "Not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching". However, while you CONTINUE to pray asking God to lead you to a church home, get in the WORD. Because the Word is what will keep you ALWAYS! There is pretty much an example in there for every situation we will go thru. I just ministered to someone last night who had been molested/raped by siblings and I was telling them there is a story in the bible where that happened. I mean there are stories of adultery, women losing babies, someone cutting on themselves, a lady with a sickness she had for years, etc. It's all there. God is the Great Physician, Wonderful Counselor, Lawyer, etc. God put those stories there for a reason. So as long as you stay in that WORD you will find peace, and sometimes even joy, as you go through trials, tribulations and storms in your lives.
I could say so much more! Maybe I'll do next weekend's inspiration on this. It is really my pleasure to do these weekend post. I am grateful to God for using me to be Just A Vessel (jav) for HIS KINGDOM and to his Children. The Ladies in the NATION has encouraged me as well and you ALL have been a blessing in my life one way or the other. Love you Sisters!

It is so good to finally post. I missed you all and those of you who have emailed me to keep me from going INSANE….THANK YOU!!!!! 
These last 30 days have been so enlightening and rewarding. God has truly been working in me, on me and around me during my fast and all I can say is YES Lord to your will and to your way!
Here is a bit of news I can finally share: My youngest got into North Carolina A&T (Go Aggies) My oldest got into the grad school she wanted, University of Pittsburg. My husband and I will be empty nesters come August and I can wait! I love my girls, but I am so glad both are going to schools out of STATE! LOL
Please keep my husband in prayer. We thought he had a heart attack last weekend, but thank God it was not. We are waiting for his results from his stress test. He is still having some pain (and is BEING a pain!) but I’m being nice. re)
Hollar back at ya this evening. on my way out to service then to a HUGE family gathering! 
P.S. As promised I have finished the story I was working on and posted back on 3/2 and 3/11. I have posted all 12 parts which include the first 2 parts posted in March. Hope you like it. :D
